It let me go through the whole process and I have a conformation on two GA tickets, so I assumed I was all set. I'm just thrown off I guess as to what pre-sale is VS general sales.

Evenko is selling only tickets for Parking at Bell Centre (Center) at present, on their web-site.

Today was just a regular presale. You could buy tickets by clicking on the link, no special credit card needed.

Theres plenty of parking around the Bell Centre at 15-20$. You dont really need to reserve the parking anyway. Im sure there will be plenty of parking spots left.

I didn't buy from the presale, but should've. Selection was better yesterday. Ended up just going with GA floors.

After Day 1 of sale

Mostly singles in the 100$ Red
Still GA available (dont know why it is greyed out, but if you select GA in the option, you will get tickets).
The other sections looks to have plenty of tickets left, and there's only about 150 tickets on Scalpers site.

It's pretty good, but the fact that the first section of being close to sold out is a seated one means its probably casual listeners who will stay seated unless "their" song come out.

Maybe I'm crazy but why would anyone want anything but the floor for a DMB show!? I'm to use to SPAC where your lucky to even get inside, say nothing about floor tics. I'm stoked to get GA at the Bell. I just hope I'm not disappointed with the show.

Because most of MTL DMB fans are casual, who dont want the hassle to "stay" in their place for the entire night, and they want to sit down for slower/songs that they don't know. For them its mostly a night out, rather than seeing a show. To bring back memories.

Personally I think booking DMB in a full Bell Centre setup was mistake. That setup is usually for bands that has a huge following in MTL (Metallica, Rush, Celine Dion), and bands with 1-2 recent hits (Imagine Dragons tickets went on sale yesterday, and the only pair you can get is either Red side of the stage or deep in the White).


I really hope the show do well, but if it doesnt go over 10k, I feel like we could see another hiatus like the last time they came here.

I was a little shocked that the Bell got a stop on the tour.

What happened the last time they were there?

It was at Parc Jean Drapeau after the release of Big Whiskey.

There was close 9k people there in a field that can accommodate 45k.

The crowd consisted mostly of casual fans who were there hoping for Space Between or What Woudl You Say, I felt that the vibe was really dull most of show. There was a couple of real DMB fans here and there, but overall it was an really average show. And I think that the band felt it, because they were supposed to end the night with Watchtower (according to the setlist), but they just didn't bother.

Thats what happens when band doesnt have a big following in certain town. I remember when Kings of Leon came to town after the big success of Sex on Fire and Use Somebody. The Bell Centre was mostly dead the entire night except when they played those 2 songs, prompting the singer to tell the crowd: 'I don't want to be an asshole, but when i go a rock a show, it's not to sit on my butt'

I only bought tickets because I didn't think I could go to SPAC this year. I ended up pulling a pair in Sec 3 for N1 at SPAC, so now I'd like to sell my Montreal tickets but they're still available through public sale.

I'd just go. Make a trip out of it and explore the beautiful city. Hey, maybe you get a rare song or two at the show. You never know.

No one ever needs an excuse to go to Montreal. If you can fog a mirror you can have a great time.

Yeah, Montreal is great during SummerTime. The show is during the Just For Laugh fest, so you might be able to catch a late show afterward.

Are you sure its the full Bell Center setup? When you look at the seating chart link on the DMB Warehouse site, the picture is the Bell Center Amphitheater setup. I just checked and I got Section 101, row D. Never been there before, how do those stack up compared to other sections?

No hotel bookings for me. We live 2 hrs away so we are headed up and back that night. We did stay at the Hyatt in downtown Montreal a couple moths ago. Nice hotel in a great location.

There are many good hotels in downtown Montreal.
But, ANY hotel you find in your price range that is located between Guy (West) & St. Laurent (East) AND Sherbrooke (North) & St.Antoine (South) puts you at a MAX 30 minutes walking distance to Bell Centre.
The show is in the middle of festival season in Montreal so many hotels and restaurants will book up fast. Starting with the F1 Grand Prix and ending after the world film fest Montreal gets very very busy.
Crumbling infrastructure and offensively high taxes aside, the city is a gem and well worth the visit.
As for Old Montreal to Bell Centre, the walk from Bell Centre to the heart of Old Montreal is about 15 minutes. There are multiple hotels on the border of Old Montreal not far from Bell Centre (The W, The St. James, The Westin, The Embassy Suites, The Intercontinental) and they are all about a 10 minute walk from Bell Centre.

In the past there has been "early entry" for Warehouse pit tickets. Anyone know if it's the same in Montreal. Do they let Warehouse tickets on the floor first?
