I wanted to give this show a try & my husband didn't.
While we were watching the pilot, I probably heard at least 10 times how this was really dumb and someone would have had electricity running again after 15 years.

When they first talked about Rachel being dead, I thought it was really odd that they cast Elizabeth Mitchell in a role that was just for the pilot and flashbacks.

The set designers deserve a lot of praise.

Hell of a twist this week, that Miles was who he was. A lot of the moments really reminded me of Lost, especially the music leading up to the moment of action then the cut to commercial. That had Abrams all over it. I'm hooked.

I haven't seen even a second of Lost, but this show reminds me of Jericho a little...I dig it. Wasn't surprised at all with Miles' history...knowing his swordmanship and background (Highlander, anyone?). Monroe is kind of surprising because he was the one with the conscience when Miles wanted to kill both robbers they stumbled upon. Hamburgers.

I think last night's episode was great. I find myself emotionally invested in the characters, which shows good development for a show.

Ready to see next week's episode.

Next week Miles and Captain Neville are set to face off which should lead for some interesting action, seems like the ball of yarn will unwind next week.

Just caught up with the series. Cool idea, but I'm having a hard time suspending my disbelief for a lot of it. Will still watch to see how it develops. Hope the story telling gets into a lot more nuts and bolts type stuff.

I thought this pilot was laughably bad, but I kept watching because it's the type of show I'm a sucker for. And I actually feel like it's improved considerably. Still not great television by any means, but it has gotten significantly better.

I really do love how Miles tells fuckface off pretty hard every episode. But she still doesn't get a clue, it's almost like the writers are making us want to hate her.

This show has JJ Abrams, Jericho didn't. My guess is that the pendants are the reason for no power, or are an antidote against whatever is causing there to be no power (obviously); perhaps whoever or whatever is responsible for no power created the pendants, or they were created by someone like Charlie's dad...

Kinda sad there wasn't more storyline into the lady's involvement with the pendant/computer.

Surprised the tracker was Neville's son...didn't really get why Neville let him let Charlie go until I saw that scene; interested to see the dynamic between him and Charlie, there's obviously something that.

But my major gripe is the show moves too slow...basically, nothing has happened; there have been small hints, but nothing major to report.

This episode was very fillerish, but the next one looks really good.

Very Lost-esque preview, "answers being revealed", it made me laugh a little. I like this show, can't wait to see what's happening next.

I'm definitely hooked on this show. I hope it lasts until it finds it's own end and is not cancelled before that. But they can't drag it out for 10 seasons. At least not without power...
