I am an old member of this site that had to create a new handle because I had forgotten all of my log in information. Looking at the shows, Star Lake is not being displayed on either Ticketmaster or Livenation sites. Any idea as to why this is? Does anyone know what site will be used for the purchase of tickets?

You never know! Played Write a Song at Starlake in 2013. Two Beach Ball Acoustic Openers last year. Got an awesome Spoon with Brandi Carlile in Deer Creek in 2013, and then again in an encore at Bristow. This def should be an interesting year...I really hope they change up the acoustic sets this year - loved the idea of it, and it was pretty cool (Got an acoustic Stay and electric Stay with the Ladies)...but they really needed to vary on what they were playing. I should have played the Setlist game last year and would have totally crushed it. In all love everything about it - looking forward to see what changes they make for 2015!

Last year's acoustic set was a great run with Beach Ball, Minarets, Little Red Bird, LIOG, and Christmas Song out of no where. The electric set was a little underwhelming, IMO.

I haven't missed a Pittsburgh show since my first one in 2000. I would have to say that last year, as far as Pittsburgh shows go, was one of the top 3 shows since then, also IMO... (Christmas Song def came out of no where...haven't heard that since the winter tour in in 2000 as well at BJC)

Honestly, I would say 2006, 2009, 2010, and 2012 were all better; at least to me.

The song performances were great as was Bela. For me, at least, the electric set didn't start off well with three repeats from Blossom; a bad taste I didn't get over for the rest of the night.

Furthermore, at the end of the show when Dave brought out the 12-string, having seen Grey St. at Blossom the night before, and Bela being on stage, I said to my wife, "Holy shit, they are really going to play Last Stop." I had convinced myself.

That's why I'm glad Star Lake and Blossom are back to being apart.

It's my own fault, I let my lofty expectations get the better of me.

No setlist watching for me this year. Going in cold is the way to go.

    2010 was dumb.

it was like 2342345235 degees that day. I couldn't even enjoy ZBB because i have having a heat stroke. Jimi thing was cool, IBYU was cool, WYA was cool. Other than that I don't remember the show.

I just remember Ray Liotta going berserk on people trying to cut infront of him

I agree to a certain point. On paper 2014 definitely looks better than 2010 and I can totally get why everyone thought it was a great show.

For me, and this is totally a personal opinion, I let my expectations get the better of me which soured my perception of the whole night. After that acoustic set I thought we were really in for something special and it was just Blossom 2.0. I didn't leave with a euphoric "that was a great show" vibe.

I did when I left PNC because of IBUY, that little improv, and the SD ->> WYA ->> Two Step encore.

yeah i got hammered after 4 beers because of the heat. We had outfield GA so got in early to get a good spot.

nothing like standing in center field for 5 hours while the sun is annihilating you. I was darker than andrew mccutchen after that show.

    That is sig worthy.

I used the word encore too liberally there any way. I agree with you on Sister and Recently.

Really, any of the usual encore closing fare would have been better there. Rapunzel, Two Step, Ants, Billies, Halloween, Watchtower, etc. would have sealed a great show.
