When looking at these lists...something I'll never understand is how the person that wrote Dreaming Tree, Stone, Rhyme & Reason, Warehouse, etc. is the same man that wrote Plastic Girl, Be Yourself, Stand Up and Can't Stop.

It's fucking mind boggling how good and how bad this band can be sometimes.

I think in the 90s Dave was on more drugs (and just a completely different part of his life) and good lyrics came from that. No way he wrote songs like warehouse sober.

I really dont think drugs had as much to do with it as youre saying.

He was at a troubled time in his life, and had a reason and drive to write the songs and lyrics he did.... now hes a rich happy lazy dad.

well it's not outright objectionable/painful as the other 9 songs on my list. but i realize i hit "skip" every single time WAYG comes on. it's slow, ponderous, uninspired, boring.
