I've never done any live music recording/mixing before. Only done musical acts in studio. But I've done live sound mixing and post on movies/tv/commercials. And while you're plugged in, you still can pick up some other stuff. I imagine that Citi Field was a bitch to do in post and what we got was honestly the best they could do. From listening it sounds like they were having trouble with sound bouncing around. Listen to how badly dave's voice echoes on it. It sounds like the vocals are coming out of a bull horn speaker at a little league games.
EDIT: please note I haven't recorded any music since 2004. And the last time I worked on a movie was 2008 (The Hangover, what what!...but that wasn't one i did sound on, haha). So, I may come back with more solid additions to what I said when it comes back to me. haha
