The people that wish hurt or cuss and berate players for not choosing their school in general, or even worse, on twitter, are fucking losers and/or psychopaths that really need to get a life. Regardless of fan base. And yes an unfortunate amount of those failures are UK "fans"

Kentucky has the most all-time wins; UCLA is 8th ... hardly elite.

Kentucky's 8 titles have come in 5 DIFFERENT decades with 5 different head coaches. That is a dynasty; one that is consistently good over time.

I believe UK has been in the Top 10 in winning percentage in 7 decades since the 1930s. Consistency - not one 12-year stretch - is what makes great programs.

Sorry, nobody outside of southern California thinks UCLA is the greatest program of all-time.

Here is a more accurate ranking; UCLA is barely in the Top 5.

And not to bash UNC cause i respect their program and fans (unlike UCLA) but we have more wins and championships than they do so how exactly are they "better" than we are? That point is certainly arguable (easy, UNC fans)but most fans, including in this thread, would agree that taking longevity into account is important and UK, UNC, KU, Duke, and possibly IU are more prestigious and better all around programs than UCLAlford.

And I made a list of the top 10 kentucky players in the NBA (not counting the guys that have only been in the league less than 5 years) and Derek Anderson was 7th, and he had a pretty decent career so.....you're dumb? I said Jamal mashburn was #2 behind rondo.

Back on topic, congrats to KU again I will definitely be watching their games to see how wiggins, perry and tharpe play together.

Since Kentucky doesn't produce elite players, no one outside of that state thinks they are the greatest program.

Kentucky has a great history, no doubt, but one of the things that makes a great program is producing great players. There are probably 25 schools that have put out better players than Kentucky in the last 50 years.

The fact is the grades for the spring semester came out this week. UK's men's GPA was a 3.40. Pretty darn impressive if you ask me. Everyone says "they go to class for 6 months" or "they never go to class after the first semester." All of that is bullshit, and most of you know it (Bobby Knight, on the other hand, jealous that Kentucky beat him down over the years, keeps bringing that up).

I believe in Cal's 4 years, he has had 12 seniors who could graduate, and everyone of them has. They either go pro or graduate.

Kentucky has had more consensus first-team All-Americans than UCLA has all-time.

Are you talking about NBA players? That has NOTHING to do with who has the better COLLEGE program. At Kentucky it is about the name on the front of the jersey. That is why Kentucky has had 5 different coaches win titles; it is not one coach or one player. We are bigger than that.

And you are a moron. But then again you are a UCLA fan, so it goes hand-in-hand. Kareem and Bill Walton (along with Sam Gilbert) are not walking through that door.

If you're a D1 fan you shouldn't care about education. Nor should the programs.

Tarik Black (Memphis) transfers to Kansas & can play this year. Gives them experience & depth in the front court. Between that & Wiggins, I'd say Kansas is once again Big XII favorites.

IU spent a ton of time recruiting Pinson, and we were his only official visit. I had heard he was an IU lean for a while, oh well. Congrats Heels.

Pinson's only official was to Indiana, but he was a regular at the Dean Dome this year. He was also a regular at Cameron though. Everyone thought Indiana was out front for a whole, but pushing up his decision got a lot of UNC fans questioning that. Tokoto and Jackson, another 2014, recruit are the only wings who will be on the roster at that time and Roy was casting a wide net among the elite wings. It was first come, first serve, and Pinson nabbed the spot.
