Would they really just give themselves Thanksgiving day off? I would think there would be at least a few days off.

As a MSU alum...this date caught my eye as Michigan State is playing at Wisconsin on 10/27 and abc has already set a 3:30 kickoff. Wiki lists dates of major concerts at the kohl center and they have never had a concert the same day as a home football game...so it would appear this date seems pretty unlikely.

That is just complete and utter nans. No way they hit Madison on a fall tour. That would be awesome if they did, but I just don't see it. But then again I don't plan DMB terr.

I'm not saying they wouldn't, I'm just saying they'll probably do Minn>Chicago or something instead of hitting Madison. I'm all for them hitting Madison. It's nice to see them going to different cities and venues.

Just a thought. If a fall tour were to happen to support the album, could it just be extended off the summer tour? Let me explain. The album release party would be at the Gorge. They then have their L.A. dates and SF Bay Area date. After CA, the move across the middle of United States, basically following Highway 80 towards Chicago. They can play Chicago, Detroit, move to New York and Maryland. They then can go down the East Coast and finish the tour in Charlottesville, VA.

Well, I'm trying not to look at these dates as I'm afraid they might change. If DMB plays at the Joe on Halloween night, it's going to be one heck of a show. Talk about high expectations!!!

They certainly could, but then I would have to change my hotels and my time off requests.

Is this likely? I'm away the weekend of MSG. I'd probably commit suicide if I couldn't make it!

No way, the Warehouse needs time to go through their ticketing process before the public on-sale. I'd say sometime in July we should get the official album release date AND fall tour dates simultaneously. Perhaps right after the WPB shows?

Thnking back to 2010... we got news of this pretty late...

I think there wil absolutely be a fall tour. Just not sure when we'll catch official word on it.

All I do know is, 6 shows in this year I'm already feigning for more...

(Really, I'd prefer the BOK center in Tulsa so I don't have to drive)

OKC is hosting the Chili Peppers on the 22nd and Carrie Underwood on the 25th. I can't see them squeezing DMB in on the 23rd also.

I'd say there's very little chance they skip Chicago. They aren't playing there this summer so I'd imagine the United Center or All-State arena will be the venue.

Plus these dates look like a combo of the 05/10 winter tours.

For sure, but remember back on Feb. 15th, the Warehouse e-mailed all members with the official summer tour dates as well as the official new studio album announcement, so it's certainly a possibility that they will drop it all on us at once.

Supposedly tomorrow the NHL will be releasing it's full regular season schedule, which will either disprove or add more fuel to these rumored dates. If the Wings aren't playing at the Joe on Halloween, oh man...

There's no way Bettman and the NHLPA let it go that far again. It took years for the NHL to recover from the last lockout. Don't forget that they went from that ABC/ESPN contract to the Outdoor Life Network as punishment for losing the whole season. I feel like at this point 8 years ago, there was already a lot of bad blood between the sides spilling out into the public, and I'm not seeing that now. I just have my fingers crossed that they allow the salary cap to continue to increase, and not attempt to pull it back again.

While on the subject of DMB and NHL, did anyone notice during the playoffs that the opening notes of "Warehouse" were played during Capitals home games? I thought that was pretty sweet.

Ah, didn't realize. I'm a newly transplanted Wings fan in Caps country. How's the Verizon Center for shows? I had higher expectations for Bristow this past weekend.

Wait when is Thanksgiving this year? Cause if those dates are right, and it's the 22nd, then I would have to miss MSG thanks to the fucking hell day of Black Friday. And the day after.
