Of course no mention about the Patriots dropping a TD pass

Edelman dropped a wide open TD pass. pats dropped about 100yards in passes. This really shouldn't have been as close as it was, but I think the jets have a solid team. They played the pats well.

why were they in so much zone? it pretty much took revis off Edelman and had him on Williams a lot.

Not really much to say about the game that hasn't been said. Marshalls drop, Ivory hurting, bad clock management. That's not how you win games on the road against top teams in the league. Regardless, all we have to do is take care of business against the Raiders and Jags and we are 6-2 halfway through. Most people thought we would win 6 total.

Can't control what the other team does re: dropped passes, it's part of the game. I was only saying, the way the game played out, had they made a stop on that 3rd and 17 and Marshall catches that TD pass, they may have won. Also don't know why they didn't just take two shots at the endzone with 15 seconds left instead of running that play over the middle.

Also, if my aunt had a dick she'd be my uncle.

bowles said a couple times after the game he didn't believe they could make it there without trying to pick up 15-20 yards

I know Ryan Fitzpatrick isn't Brett Favre when it comes to arm strength, but he's also not Chad Pennington...weren't they on like the 40-50 yard line after the onside recovery? Seems like a pretty weak excuse. No reason why an NFL QB can't throw the ball 50-60 yards.

What the fuck is up with the defense yesterday. Quickly souring on Bowles. Pathetic performance, typical Jets.

And don't get me started on Geno.

I actually thought Geno looked a lot better than I thought he would. Threw a terrible pick early but besides that he actually looked halfway competent back there.

Defense was pathetic, yes, but it's just one game. I wouldn't sour on Bowles after two rough games, have some faith man . He can't make the players tackle out there, that's what the biggest problem was. Cromartie is also terrible now, brutal signing.

I'm a Jets fan...when do we ever have faith Bowles just seems like he's emotionless and he didn't have this team prepared at all.

Geno is just dumb. Why would he take that hit out of bounds? Why would he take some of the sacks that he took? At lot of those numbers were when the Raiders were up three scores and backing out of coverage giving the Jets easy slants.

Oakland dominated that game. Murray racked up 113 rushing yards against a solid run defense. Jets blitzed quite a bit and Carr made them pay each time using almost every eligible receiver - notably Crabtree who had 102 yards receiving. Hell, his QB rating was 130.9 - 333 passing yards, 4 TD passes, no sacks and no interceptions. Even old man river Charles Woodson got in on the fun picking off early in the second quarter by picking off Smith. Raiders offensive line looked very solid as well. I cannot predict the future but the way they are playing the Raiders look like a developing team who will likely get a wild card spot but they are not seasoned enough to make a deep run into the playoff I don't think.

Oakland right in the mix with a good chance to take a wildcard. The AFC division winners are basically determined. Should be a cluster at the end of the year with the Jets, Bills, Raiders, Pitt, etc...all vying for the wild card.

But if the Jets D is not going to show up, then we're finished, especially if Geno is our QB. What a joke of a D.

This D is legit. They had one bad game, let's not act like the sky is falling here. Besides, the Jets are historically bad in Oakland so I wouldn't put too much stock into yesterday. We're a solid team, we'll win 10 games and possibly get a Wild Card spot. Not much more you can ask out of a first year coach.

We won't win 10 if Geno is our QB and our D is going to put up games like that. Cro looked so bad. With our schedule no reason we shouldn't win 10 but just don't trust Geno.

Officially in "fuck this team" mode from here on out. Tony you were 1000% right, this team underperforms week in and week out and the offensive play calling is laughable. Crazy to think this team was 4-1 at one point and were close to the top 5 in the NFL power rankings. That 3rd and 17 conversion against New England legitimately murdered our season, the team hasn't recovered from that game since.

I sure hope he does. Gonna cost at least $8 mil and if it's for one year, I'm all for it. Cut Cro, who sucks, and voila.

Also let Ivory walk and draft Zeke Elliot. I love Ivory, but the guy can't stay healthy... it's getting old.

Big win yesterday, can't take too much from it because the Pats are ridiculously injured, but a win against NE is a win against NE, I'll take it.

Agree about Cro. Dude is an abomonation. Also, ballsy move leaving Gronk wide open on every play during the fourth quarter.

Team has been so streaky all year. 4-1 opening, 1-4 middle of the season, and now 5 wins in a row. I have a feeling that the other shoe is about to drop (again) on this team and they'll shit the bed against Rex because Jets. I'm cautiously optimistic for Sunday based on how good they've looked the past month, but I know I'm likely setting myself up for inevitable heartbreak/sadness/suicide.

As much as I like Fitz as a person- especially with his time here in Buffalo. I hate the Jets that much more. So hoping the Bills win and somehow Steelers get in.

Get a fucking grip, man. Do you call into WFAN? You sound like the delusional idiots that Boomer & Carton mock relentlessly on air. We were 4-12 last year. Four. And. Twelve. Six-game turnarounds are nothing to bat your eyelashes at.

Bowles certainly went through some growing pains this year, especially when it came to clock management, but to flat-out say you hate him makes me question whether or not you watched this team at all this year. There was a noticeable difference in the demeanor of this team vis a vis the Rex era. The Jets were the six-least penalized team in the league this year. The most? The Bills. That's not a coincidence.

They established a winning formula this year that, with some refinement, can only improve next year. If they didn't completely wither away in the middle of the season, they'd be in the playoffs. They're not that far off at all.
