i distinctly remember this

Nomar and Mo were 2 of my favorites growing up

I liked them because while they didn't win they seemed to have so many "dirt dog" type players between Varitek, Nixon, Daubach, Valentin, etc. That was the time where I would walk into Fenway and start seeing the field and just have my jaw drop because it was all new and bigger than life, plus aside from '96 the Patriots were consistently irrelevant. That's a cool story about O'Leary, I had a few phone calls with Derek Low because he was hitting on my (single) neighbor who's kids I babysat, they went out a few times until she realized he was married.

I was pretty lucky my mom dated a guy that worked for the organization during the 90s so i got cool behind the scenes access, and hundreds of games

Yeah and BC / ND / UF are my three favorite teams so seeing two of them there would be crazy, Fenway definitely isn't my favorite place to see a concert in terms of sound but the "tailgating" is infinitely better IMO

Dave Roberts named Dodgers manager. Good for him. One of my life's goal is to shake that man's hand.

Looks like sox have an agreement with Chris Young.

Also I'm getting excited for the winter meetings next week. Sounds like the sox are early favorites to land price.

Not necessarily. Young should really be a fourth outfielder, nothing more. Great swing for fenway.

Red Sox had some serious concerns over Grienke's ability to perform under the spotlight of Boston...not surprised by this move.

Apparently there's an opt out after year three. Could be a good deal for the Red Sox if they choose not to re-sign him.

    Price
    Buchholz
    Erod
    Kelly
    Miley
    Owens
    Johnson

I like the rotation, and they have really good SP depth.
