this will be the problem for the eagles moving forward... good QB's don't grow on trees. And with the way the team is trending I'm not sure if you're going to find a free agent at any position that is going to be chomping at the bit to play in this offense.

Also the offense is geared to a certain type of QB which also limits the options when choosing a QB.

In the NFL, if you don't have a QB you don't got shit. Regardless of other personnel changes it might not matter who the QB is next year. Chip will still be gone. Not saying for certainty, but there is a good chance Kelly has already set the franchise back a handful of years.

The Eagles are in the same problem a lot of teams have been in before. If there was one thing Eagles fans had from 1999-2011 was knowing what you have at the quarterback position and head coach, the two hardest voids to fill.

This team is incredibly bad right now.

The defense, which was once a high point this season, has completely fallen off by getting gashed both in the air and now on the ground. They can't score points because neither quarterback can throw down field nor can the receivers catch the ball. On top of that, when the passing game isn't dangerous, the run game is easy to stop.

They're a poorly-coached trainwreck and I can't wait for this season to be over. Get a high draft pick and pray there is some talent in April that can be built around.

This sucks. Happy Thanksgiving my ass.

It's funny how people who were desperately clinging to the hope that they could make a run they kept bringing up the undefeated with Romo thing. They were gifted a game week 1 vs NYG, he played half a game against Philly where your offense had one of the worst performances ever, and beat the Dolphins in a game where he threw as many picks as touchdowns. Super impressive I loved seeing them get their ass kicked yesterday.

I'm banking on them drafting better if they fire Kelly. I don't see it happening though.

If they reinstate Howie Roseman, maybe Chip will get mad and leave. Gives Lurie a way out without paying him.

The first smart thing Kelly said all year came last night when he put the entire blame on himself for what happened this season. He completely dismantled a team that needed a few tweaks to contend and may have set the franchise back 5 years. I cannot imagine wanting him back at all. Meanwhile Ariens, who the Eagles didn't even interview, is on the short list of favorites to win a title this year. Ugh.

Choosing Kelly without even talking to Arians is a direct reflection on the poor decision making of the ownership group. It's extremely relevant considering the current state of the franchise.

Then again here you are again unable to have an analytical discussion on a decision that went poorly. Just like with the Flyers you don't seem to be able to understand that good teams evaluate talent well and make good decisions and that it's not just luck. When a team makes a shitty decision it's worth discussing. Should we not talk about releasing Jackson or not resigning Maclin or drafting Smith either?

Then again here you are again unable to have an analytical discussion on a decision that went poorly. Just like with the Flyers you don't seem to be able to understand that good teams evaluate talent well and make good decisions and that it's not just luck. When a team makes a shitty decision it's worth discussing. Should we not talk about releasing Jackson or not resigning Maclin or drafting Smith either?
Here you are again using hindsight to try to look smart. Ariens interview would have been nothing more than a courtesy.
