With so many smaller clubs being bought/invested in it'll be interesting to see what happens to the BPL. I wonder if it will hurt the smaller clubs that don't get invested in, leaving them to bob up and down between Championship and the Premier League. Also curious to see what would happen if one of the invested clubs shit the bed and got relegated.

I think you will still have the power houses, but overall the league will have more parity. the BPL is a great product because all of the teams are getting so good. The American influence has had an impact. So many of those teams have just as large or even bigger followings here in the US now.
If you scroll back about 4-5 years...you will find that I used to follow Palace as my second team like crazy, up until they beat Man United in the league cup. At that point I decided that they were officially in conflict with my #1 haha
Anyway, the Devils owner was in a little hot water over here recently. Apparently he landed his personal aircraft on a kids soccer field which forced the kids to cancel their game. He has since apologized for this incident.
