a dream scenario would be Oklahoma, Alabama, and Notre Dame in there. Clemson doesn't move the needle nationally.

I think at the least the tv folk would like Alabama v whomever and Oklahoma v whomever.
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Big 10 winner jump Oklahoma for the 3 spot in the final rankings for that very reason. Clemson vs OU and Bama vs Big 10 will be much better from a tv perspective.

Edit: assuming the top 4 win out, of course.

Huge commit for Auburn today: http://www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/...burn/76366468/

Hope Archer makes it to the state championship again this year. Would love to see him play in the Dome in a couple weeks.

And meanwhile Ohio State is on the outside looking in because their loss came late in the season as opposed to early on.

I just don't understand the way this thing works.
    I think it's pretty obvious.

Good wins matter more than good losses. Pretty obvious especially after this week. And the last 2 years in general.

And lose late and you're almost guaranteed to be out. Early losses can be overlooked. Just as it was in the BCS era.

In addition to OSU's loss being late, it was also against the only good team on their schedule. What wins do they have that would justify their being any higher?

Dumbest 4th down call I've ever seen. They haven't been anywhere remotely close to hooking up on a long ball so what on Earth made them think they'd hit it with the game on the line.

Fucking running back is averaging like 18yds a carry. Would have had a better shot just handing it to him.

Let's go Huskers, Cowboys, Horned Frogs, Seminoles and Tigers.

Penn State, you can still go die.

If you really want the 4 best teams in the playoff though, a team that lost early in the year may be the best team in the nation by the end of the year. If a team lost at the end of the year, there is a strong chance they're not one of the 4 best.

If/when Les gets his $15M to leave LSU, do yall think he takes time off or goes immediately to another top program? That money would buy a really nice house in Athens, just saying!

Yeah it's becoming more and more clear that we've really accomplished nothing. Even if we win and a few teams ahead of us lose, we are probably still susceptible to other teams jumping us.

Is this in reference to the Nebraska targeting call? It was pretty bang-bang. I can understand the penalty but don't think it was targeting.
