Awful offense, awful offensive line and awful play calls. How do you not run the ball on 3rd down and 1? Hope we learn from our mistakes and power through the season

They are all 2 steps to far...probably because Jackson used to get to those.

Jackson wasnt his only receiver last year. Cooper and Celek made a lot of deep plays last year. Foles looks absolutely terrible on every pass farther than 10 yards

It seems that he has missed guys long more than not this year, which is strange, but I've also noticed a few plays where his receivers have slowed up or made a different cut than what Foles seemed to expect. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that this is basically a new receiving corps for him. Outside of Cooper, he had limited time last year with Ertz and none with Maclin or Matthews. I think he'll come around but the chemistry isn't there yet.

Also, I'm surprised there hasn't been more talk about Ertz's fumble. It was a very bad play that changed the complexity of the game, and from that distance virtually guaranteed points to SF.

the fumble was awful. it was also in the midst of a run where SF scored on like 3/4 series, and kept the defense on the field for a ton of time. Also in that ensuing drive was Chip's fuck up on 4th down, accepting a penalty and giving SF a chance to get a TD, which they did

thats a big risk to take with a tired defense deprived of talent to begin with. like Buck said, at that spot on the field it would have been a big morale boost to hold the 49ers to a FG, which they did. That was a huge fuck up on Chip's part

They did not get a TD on that drive. They ended up kicking a FG from closer and making the game 26-21.

Interested to see the black pants...They should try them out with the White Jerseys as well... definitely a HUGE game. A week ago I wouldve been pretty confident, but I am actually a little nervous about the Giants.

i feel like its just wrong to be both GM and owner because they have conflicting interests. its a GMs job to put together the best possible team utilizing every resource you have. An owners job is to field the best team utilizing the resources he decides on, while using cost-benefit analysis to make sure the team is profitable.
