Re: ESPN 30 for 30

I would have a hard time ranking them but my favorites is probably the Allen Iverson one and I hate the NBA.

I keep missing a lot of em, and the Terry Fox one got wiped from my dvr (stupid Dora cartoons), that was the one I really wanted to see.

of those I saw, Jimmy The Greek was the best.

I watched Len Bias and Jimmy the Greek back to back and I had to have all my belts and shoelaces confiscated.

I didn't like the production value, thought it simplified a bigger issue, making Trump the bad guy, thought trying to give Trump the $3 check was in poor taste.

I just watched the Best That Never Was. I genuinely feel sad after watching it. If he was doing well with the Rams, why didn't he get picked up by another team?

i have been rewatching these on espn recently and i was wondering when the second half of these movies come out because the majority of these were great and i loved them. My favorites were Pony Exce$$, The two Escobars, The Best That Never Was, and Run Ricky Run and i really wanna see Once Brothers as well as Steve Bartman: Catching Hell if they ever show it.

You guys talking about Cox OnDemand?

When ESPN finally releases all these as a box set this will be an awesome gift for any sports fan.

Netflix has about 20 of them available right now and I'm trying to get through all the ones I missed. The U and The Two Escobars are the next 2 on my list.

All the college football ones have been amazing. The Best That Never Was, Pony Excess, The U.

The Best That Never Was has been my favorite thus far just because how well the director humanized Dupree's story.

I was very young at that time, and damn did this one shock me. I had no the regard to which OJ was held prior to everything. Pretty nuts.

Same, I had always heard he was a fan favorite, but this is really putting it into perspective. Really cool way to do a doc too.

I've been going on a mean netflix streak with these lately catching up on the ones I missed. Watched recently:

    - Run Ricky Run
    - June 17th 1994
    - Two Escobars
    - The U
    - Jordan Rides the Bus
    - 4 Days in October

I really enjoy the ones that wrap history into their larger stories (Escobars, U, 1994, Best that Never Was) so for that reason ones like Jordan Rides the Bus don't rate high on my list.

Regardless these are awesome because I was too young for most of them to realize the gravity of the situation whether it was purely sports-related or something much larger, and reliving it now is making these memories so much more vivid. Can't wait to watch "Once Brothers"...based on the reviews in here seems like that's one that contends for the top honors.

Just saw they have the entire set will be released in May: http://www.amazon.com/ESPN-Films-Lim...8611257&sr=8-1

Pretty funny considering the volume was $75 on ESPN.com.

Any idea if that will include the films that were cut from the series like the Bartman story?

Wonder if those will ever be released.
