They should just narrow the goal posts. That way it will be more difficult to kick it from the other side of mid-field.

Most people missed how strong Arizona was over the last 9 weeks of last season.

Losing Daryl Washington this season is a big blow,
but if they can get a bit lucky and squeeze one more year out of John Abraham, Antonio Cromartie, etc.,
the defense will still be really tough, if healthy.

The OL finally has some skilled, NFL-caliber bodies!
Now they just have to 1) also stay healthy (healthier), and 2) start gelling as a unit.
Most of their positions have plenty of talent really. Chemistry is the next hurdle.

Their schedule appears to be really hard, though.

24/15 would be a pretty big regression. if that happens he'll be out

Hard to use what he did last year as a base line. Even if he goes 24/15 he should has another season to see which is the norm last year or this year

Those are relatively average starting QB numbers. Anywhere from the 11th-16th range.
Expecting production closer to last year rather than that prediction above is foolish.
He certainly wouldn't "be out" after a season like that either. Zero chance.

I dont think 24/15 would get them into the playoffs

I dont expect anything close to last season, but I expect growth with him being in his 2nd year and after a full offseason being the starter...at this point he should have complete command of the offense as well as the confidence and trust of his team mates, neither of which he had last year

I dont think he's gonna set anymore TD:INT or QB Rtg records, but I do think he'll take the next step. If he doesn't, and knowing he doesnt have much skill running the ball, I dont think 24/14/3500 will be enough to win the NFC East and I dont think it'll be enough for Chip Kelly

I agree...but Kelly (like all coaches) has a limited window...I dont think he'd want to start over in Year 3, but we all know that Foles isn't his type of QB...if it works, Kelly's ok with it...if it's avg, I think Kelly will want to move on

I think it's only for the first two weeks (though this doesn't count as week 1).

    Re: 2014/2015 NFL Season

Their offense is much better than Eli's.
Their defense is much better than Tony's.
Washington seems like the questionmark to me.

McCoy (barring injury) can be just as effective if not more.
Foles' best WR from last year is not on the team now,
and his best WR going into last year is now coming off a major injury.
I like Matthews a ton, but he's obviously new. I do lean more towards Ertz' potential being fulfilled rather than being overrated.

Hard to have growth in stats coming off 119.2 rating and 27:2 td:int.
His yardage projected to 3,558 in 16 games. Obviously takes 250 ypg over 16 to hit 4,000.
Obviously not impossible, especially in today's NFL, especially in his offense too.
But still only 10 quarterbacks averaged it last season.

Would assume safe bet is combination of Foles' growth vs regression, and opponents improve game-planning.

I agree with all that 100%, but with 3 1/2 more games than last year, I dont think those #s are out of the

and the numbers i posted dont equate to a 119 rtg, I'll be happy if that stays over 93

Cincinnati and Bengals QB Andy Dalton reached agreement on a 6-year, $115 million contract, per two sources.

Ants really has a hard time understanding scarcity and contracts. If you are content with your QB, you resign your QB and it costs a lot of money.
