Unbelievable contract. He's gonna be making less than what the veterans minimum would equate to with the cap bump for the last three years of his deal. Always liked O'Quinn as a hustle guy that can bruise down low. We have gotten some solid pieces, now we just need a centerpiece.

it really doesnt take long to turn things around in the NBA. two good drafts can very easily turn a 20-win team into an 8 seed

If I'm the Lakers I try to get Russell as far away from Kobe as possible. Off the court I'm sure he can learn a few lessons but if Kobe is still under the impression he's Kobe on the court... gonna erase the first year of development in Russell's game.

I understand. This just enables the larger one to start and have Lou come off the bench to play in the rotation with Clarkson and Russell.
