    to both of these

Sugar Will, as well, the 04 versions at least. These '16 ones were god-awful.

I'm glad management selected AC N3 as the lone representative '11 release. We needed that Kill The King.

That was one of the top moments of my DMB concert attendance experiences. Was so shocked when that song started.

Everyone loves Jane and spoon. Raven is awesome and terribly underplayed. How about beach ball, you never know, sweet up and down, and alligator pie. Just 4 randoms that I like a lot that I don't hear much about .

I've actually heard quite a few people say that they really dislike Spoon. I've always loved it.

Agree with Raven. People, People is another one, but I doubt that's coming back.

#27 is a great song not played enough
Funny the way it is from Pittsburgh 2012 part of summer warm up series with the dark wya style intro, would love this to be more than a 1 off
Spaceman>Cornbread Each song needs more play but I love the combo. Also cornbread by Itself is another chance to hear carter rip the drums and another way to fake out Halloween.
You Never Know-12 years 38 shows still haven't heard this with or without the big carter intro this has to be played.
American Baby Intro Save it for late in the tour if Dave is going to scream his lungs out but there are some really great ABI>Two Steps. Also a great song for the band to show off improve.
Louisiana Bayou Now with Tim to fill the guest roll bring this song back reworked if necessary
    Alligator Pie same as bayou
Hello Again Dave into 7/29/04 companion to stand up version is my favorite
Everybody wake up Never got a chance played so late in the tour when the rest of the album was beat into our heads could be up there with YMDT if they gave it a chance
Beach Ball seeing some play but a great song that needs to sit around

Dive In. I really liked it in the E1 slot at Bristow this year. I also think acoustic Halloween gets a little overshadowed.

I think part of that is that they've never played the song that comes close to the perfection that is the studio version

Ya. Alligator Pie live has never reached the potential it should have. Dave's voice on it live is always pretty damn rough. And the transitions sound sloppy. It could have turned into this cool like Louisiana Bayou type groove and jam, but just fell flat after a couple years.

Want to see beach ball developed full band. I liked better in its early days, they sped it up made it too sloppy with Tim. Everybody wake up is another I felt was better without Tim

Alligator pie is best when hey give Boyd the solo after the bridge (when will grace return? Part) then jumping straight to the last verse.

Nothing wrong with it being in a power spot. I love it as an opener... starts off a little slow and then crushes the ending with, in my opinion, one of his best scats.

Under-rated to me in this thread means... songs that aren't loved as much as they should be... not songs that aren't played often by the band.

At least thats how i interpreted it.

I didn't put You Never Know for that reason. Fans love that song, but it isn't played often. Not under-rated, just rare nowadays.

I think it's best spot is set closer or somewhere close to the beginning but not the opener. Agree on the scat but he started to lose interest in it towards the end of this tour and I wouldn't be surprised if the song came back without the scat part.

If we're going to put people, people on here, then I'll see your people people and raise you a spotlight.

Dare I say though, that the first 4 minutes of Jimi are (or were) much more tolerable than everyone acts like on the forums. At shows all I see is people jammin to jimi. It gets the same heat as die trying does because of the frequency and spot it gets played in. End the song differently (get rid of sexy mf) shorten horn section and make it a quick 7 minute song where everyone gets a turn on a controlled jam and it's not to the point where people are walking out while sexy mf is on.

I used to like jimi thing a lot when I was much younger but I can't stand what they've done to it. Still think it's one of boys better jams. For the record, I respond as negatively as most when I see it on set lists, and am infuriated when it is played as a set closer especially when I am present, but if you take away those factors......

Some of the songs they never released are truly some of their best work. Somebody on here said that some other band could have made a career out of the songs that DMB discarded and that was a spot on analysis.

Do you mean never released on album, or just never played period but have on the shelf.

    Sugar will
    Beach ball
    Joy ride
    Idea of you
    Break free
Here's one for the hardcore: #32 or "kind intentions"
    Kill the king
    Crazy easy

There's a list of unreleased that I think are under rat d songs. But, to be honest after thinking about his question for a while, I actually think the most under rated song HAS to be one that is disliked because it is a single or something of that nature and not given a real chance. A song like "stay" would come to mind. Even though I see it on sandals commercials and hear it on he PA when I buy gold toe socks at Boscov's and it's a played out radio song hat everyone in he world knows, it is still a good song. I think a lot of people overlook stay as a good song because of he fact that it is a single and everything else mentioned above. BUT, this logic does not apply to all singles, especially ones like, say.....When the world ends. I feel like just gave WTWE too much credit by spelling it out completely.
