For 99 I like 5/22/99
For 2000 I like the whole month of September.. But early 2000 is amazing as well. Basically every 2000 show is amazing.

Tough to lose in that era. Though to me they represent different times in the band history. 97-99 is one era. 2000 stands alone really. And then 2001 and on is like apocalyptic if you were a fan pre LS/Everyday.
All the live trax from 2000 are really good. LT 3 and 16 are still 2 of my go to shows. Hope they release a few more. The Soldier Field show is released and pretty good albeit sloppy, but it's only 5 bucks. |

Also, I'm biased because I was there but July 25, 2000 is very good. Ben Harper on Watchtower is worth checking out alone. As are all the new tunes at the time Sweet Up and Down, Grey Street, Bartender and Grace is Gone. Favorite moments from my night, and still some favorite moments from any show to this day.

5/9/99 is a great show. There's a small trainwreck in Pig, but the rest of the show is great.
And download LT 3 if you haven't already. |

Lot of great shows in September 2000. And the Meadows/SPAC stretch at the end of August 2000.

Was at 8-1-00 and 8-2-00, Shoreline and recommend. Typical Situation was killer. Charlie Rose interview was during these shows.

I was row 2 seat 1@RFK for 2000.07.19 rained all day and night with epic lightening storm especially during the watchtower encore with Ben Harper on lap steel and vocals... was right behind Ben kids and nanny and got to meet Dave just as he walked off from itroduing bhic....80 degrees plus and raining was like a live concert in your shower during a lightening storm either this or 1998.08.22 was the best solid show I have ever seen...Both have exceptional watchtowers...08.22 Boyd plucks a solo oh yeah and the encore was 🐖, stir it up>watchtower...enjoy ISO. 2000 .07.19. I know it exists in at least 2 different sources, a matrix, and an IEM ANY WILL DO

6/24/1999 (Live Trax 34) & 8/27/2000 (Live Trax 3) are my go-to's for those specific years. Really can't go wrong with anything from 2000 though
