This is exactly how to do it (and Gas Station is okay, parked there several times last year). Pay $20 to park in any of the lots right OUTSIDE the Pryor ST entrance. After the show you walk right through the VIP lot where cars aren't moving at all, and get in your car and your out of there. Head North on Pryor ST, or head West to I-75

Can't make it this year for the FIRST time in 14 years due to my friend getting married. I'm in the wedding so I obviously can't skip it. It's my birthday weekend too. F.

This is the first weekend show in Atlanta since Piedmont Park in 07. This after Pelham will make a nice little two-show swing!

Will definitely be there! Hopefully the acoustic set sounds like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rBHl3XH5RQ

Skip to 3:00. Such a great version of Tripping Billies. So smooth

Hey guys this show will be my first one if i get to go this year. Sorry if there's already a thread for all of this or whatever, but when I tried to use the search tab, it blocked out the word 'first' because it was too common. But anyway, I've been a lurker on the forums and I heard about the acoustic/electric sets and wanted to finally be able to go this year. Any advice? For example are lawn seats too far away from the show to get good sound quality?
Again sorry if this is in the wrong thread, I'll gladly move it wherever if I need to.

    Happy First Post!

I for one find the sound not to bad in the lawn. However, you can have some really loud/rude drunk people around you that can ruin the experience quickly. Of course this is just as possible with the seats, but I believe less likely. Lawn to me is great when I have a big group that is going 5+ people or so. It makes moving around easier and of course obtaining tickets is a lot easier for everyone.

During the 2012 request period I got 6 lawn tickets for lakewood, but I can't remember how many reserved seats you can request; I would guess 2-4.

Thanks. I just read the Warehouse Ticket Info and it can range from 2-6 tickets depending on the venue.

We now have a plan and we are going to go to Pelham! We will be leaving my school promptly at 3 or hopefully a bit earlier and then get on the highway and should get the venue just about an hour prior to the show. So no tailgating but I will be at the show! So exited for this tour. I'm hoping the trend if Pelham/ATL run continues in the future.

Ok, so I just looked at the Tickemaster page for this show and it didn't show a pit in the seat map. Didn't know if that was normal or not. Also, there was only one price listed for tickets and it was like $90. Why so expensive?

They just don't have all the details yet. Under the "Ticket Limits" link it mentions a 2 ticket limit for PIT. And on the Warehouse Ticketing page for this show it has:

    GA PIT STANDING: $75.00
    PAVILION RESERVED: $75.00
    LAWN: $40.50

I mentioned to my daughter yesterday that you recognized her, told her your user name T-Train. She said "oh that's Thomas Train from Lagrange, he has a cool mom who waited for him to take him to Orange Beach last year"

Thanks for the info! is there any other general stuff about shows i need to know? What time to get there or what to expect? I'm pretty young but I've been a fairly hardcore fan for about a year and I'm planning on driving and going with another fan.

Is it very difficult to get pit tickets if you are not a WH member and have to wait until public sale?

Probably one of the easiest shows to get PIT. There will be plenty for the CITI presale, and available for at least a few minutes at the regular onsale. And then they will release more the week of the show.

But it also ends up one of the most crowded...375 seats removed and 750 pit tickets sold. Have been to a couple shows where they had to stop letting folks back into the PIT. Hopefully no more of that with elimination of pdf PIT tickets.

For a show of this caliber, no. If you get on Ticketmaster right when they go on sale you'll be fine. If this was SPAC or Alpine (lol) then good luck.
