Re: Official Joe Louis Arena Thread Dec 3rd
I was wondering if anyone noticed what LeRoi did after he was introduced by Dave towards the end of the show at DTE Music Theater. First, he bowed to the crowd as if to be mocking Tim Reynolds (Tim always bows with his hands in front of him pressed together in a "praying" fashion), as Tim bowed the exact same way right before LeRoi was introduced.
THEN, immediately after that, LeRoi changed his hands from a praying form to a cupped form with his arms extend, as if he was asking for money (not literally, just using these expressions to explain what he did). He then turned to the large trumpet player, I forget his name, and showed him what he was doing, with his arms extended and hands in a begging cupped form...and they both started laughing. THe larger trumpet player shortly after was shaking his head as if to say "thats wrong man, thats not funny"...but was still smiling/laughing.
It's as if LeRoi was mocking all the "rich DMB fans", and "showing off" the fact that he is now rich because of all the money the fans have spent at concerts and on their CDs. He pulled something like this while everyone was cheering for him, after being introduced to the crowd. It honestly looked like he was saying "thats right little kids, keep cheering, and keep filling my hands up with your hard earned money...ill be laughing all the way to the bank with it...thanks!"
Anyone else see him do this, and get the feeling this is the vibe he put out there by putting his hands out there like that, and then laughing? I thought it was pretty unprofessional and ungreatful.
