yeah just kind of a final last ditch effort to make sure.

Agreed, I've been in his shoes and it sucks, so I do feel bad but better to break it off now than to lead him on

Haven't posted in here in awhile. Nothing really going on on my end, but lots of activity with everyone else it seems. Troy went to Cuba? Hope he makes it back to Canada.

    Re: Dating is miserable

Haven't dropped by here in awhile.

Girlfriend and I are coming up on 7 months of being "official" and all is going well. We just booked flights to Florida together for the week following her graduation from law school. We were supposed to go on a trip with a group of people a month ago, but one of the people going had a family emergency that meant a few people dropped out and everyone else felt bad to go forth. Kind of a good thing, though. As much fun as the group would have been, I'm looking forward to just her and I.

The next few weeks are going to be pretty miserable, though, since she'll be finishing up classes and getting ready for her last exams. I'm at the point where I'm so used to seeing her, if I don't see her/she doesn't stay over for a week's period of time, it sucks big time.

    Hello Everyone!

Cuba was good. Nothing crazy. The actual travel with her family was pretty rough. Everyone was stressed and the girlfriend and her parents just bicker back and forth. When we got there it was fine though. Hardly saw them (except for our day trip to Havana. Her mom is from Uruguay, so I thought it would be best to bring a Spanish speaker in case it was of need). Overall good trip. Nothing is really different at home now. Same ol' Same ol' really.

I must have missed the part where you said you were going with her family. That's rough.

Did you meet Fidel, at least?

I send notes to girls I think are interesting on a dating site and a little part of me hopes they don't reply back because it would just be easier that way.

    Re: Dating is miserable

Hanging out with a friend tonight. Very long story short we've been very good friends for about 8 years during which I've had a major crush on him. He has known that and we've had our drunken stupors but he's always been honest about not wanting a relationship. He got a girlfriend a couple years ago and they recently broke up. I know he doesn't want to jump into a relationship right away which he told me, but I can't help but be excited..

I would tread carefully. It sounds like he's been pretty clear that he doesn't want a relationship with you. Now, you're like rebound girl number one.

Guys know if they want to be in a relationship with a girl pretty quick. Kind of like girls know if they want to sleep with a guy pretty quick.

    Good luck!
