    Hello Ants beer thread!

I've never posted in here before (you can find me more regularly in the NBA, Premiership, Gorge threads) but plan on hanging out here more regularly. I wanted to let you guys know your fellow ant just got a gig as the "LA Craft Beer Examiner" on Examiner.com. I'll be writing reviews on west coast craft beers as well as reporting beer events in the area. I hope fellow beer enthusiast ants will check out my author page here - http://www.examiner.com/craft-beer-i...peter-szilagyi

Would also love to receive suggestions from you guys of beers you've tried and enjoyed and feel need some good word of mouth. (Note: They do need to be west coast made and manufactured)

And like I said, I'll be hanging out here a lot more. Cheers!

Eh... I feel like they are slighly hoppier than a regular old pale. And I find myself enjoying them quite frequently.

I would say definitely not, the hop presence is far stronger in sessions than most pales then (in my experience thus far) fade quickly to a lack of malt backbone which inherently lowers the ABV.

Yeah I agree....I mostly mocking a tweet that someone had sent out saying that session IPA's are pale ales....probably should have included that in my original post....

I think it's very underrated for what it is. Stylistically it's great. But I, and a large majority of people, never buy it....

Picked up another 6 pumpkin beers to add to my collection....waiting for October to dive into them. Also found Boulevard Tank 7! I've been waiting for it to show up around me.

Allagash... then while you're at it, get some Allagash White. Then just drink anything else that Allagash makes.

Never was a big 'Belgian' style guy but I visited their brewery and was blown away. Honestly haven't had a bad beer from them.

Had Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale last night, a whiskey-cask aged ale from KY. Not bad at all. Listed as an Eng. Strong Ale and had a nice sweet taste to it.

had you not heard of that one before? It's everywhere here but I've never been impressed by anything that brewery has done.
