Tried a few more eps of BoJack. It's not for me.

Watched the first season of Trailer Park Boys. A friend recommended it. It's OK. I feel like maybe too many shows have done the mockumentary style since TPB first aired.

Just finished the pilot of Louie. Now, that I liked. I'll watch more of that.

Trailer Park Boys is brilliant. They are pioneers.

Bojack has some laughs for sure, but it seems like it wants to come off as variant and new
while somehow I feel like I'm watching reruns

Louie is excellent. It's one of the greatest comedies on tv right now. Some of the episodes are absolutely pure brilliance. It's also very good at being more than a comedy in that it gives you the feels sometimes. Highly recommend watching every episode multiple times.

I watched the first three episodes of Bojack, not sure how I even made it through that many. I thought I would love it, I wanted to love it, but it's just very...bland. It feels forced and contrived. Like they are trying way too hard...I just don't get it. I can't stand the animation, either.

I am, however, loving House of Cards. Not sure how it took me this long to get into it.

Just got caught up in House of Cards.

Season 1 was much better than Season 2.

    Self promotion time!

The wife and I started a blog about TV and food. Here is our (long) logline:

The two of us love to eat and watch TV. It’s really what we do best. So we thought, “why not combine the two?” From that we developed the idea for TV For Dinner: A blog where you can find fun recipes to cook that match the theme of some of your favorite TV shows. We will explore Comedies, Dramas, Reality TV shows and even Sporting Events to develop culinary dishes that are easy to cook and taste delicious.

If you have a moment, check it out and also "like" it on Facebook!

right?! I mean hell I even recognize that the series itself has its share of flaws, but the amount of work she does it insane. Her snub alone shows the absurdity of the Emmys. Though the fact that it happened, and there seemed to be SO much ink about it, maybe that itself will help her score one next year.

did anyone dare to watch the Z NATION pilot? Pretty much all of the reviews I glanced at were just unbelievably scathing, that it makes Walking Dead look like Shakespeare.

I had no idea it was even coming before the moment I first found it, and didn't even know what it was supposed to be, but now that I'm done with it, Bojack Horseman was alright. cool music for the credits, both the opening and closing.

    Same here.

Although, I'm actually kind of sad that this coming Sunday is the season finale because I don't know if it's been renewed or not.

It's been renewed for a second season. Del Toro says he has a five season story arc though, and I'm concerned about it surviving that long. I could see it moving to Hulu/Netflix/Amazon to finish out its run.

In other news, David Fincher will be directing the entire first season of HBO's Utopia!

I've really enjoyed Gotham and the first episode of How to Get Away with Murder (haven't watched the 2nd yet). Red Band Society is kinda annoying me but my wife likes it.
