when i saw D+F in philly last year, i personaly wanted to rip the fucking lungs out of all the people that were singing "FLLLYYYY EAGLES FLYYY!!!!" at the top of their tone deaf asshole voices durring the entire show. Youre at a concert, youre not at a simulcast to the game, so how bout you swallow a fistfull of shutthefuckup.

last year was during the monday night game against miami, so if they had done it in between sets or beforehand, then it mighta been ok. i didnt hear them during the songs when i was there, but on the recording you can hear. its pretty weak.

    but hey, LETS GO EAGLES

what about YOUR foolishness. yes, the eagles have t.o. but losing your two best cornerback and gaining a linebacker isnt good enough. im no diehard eagles fan- im actually a steelers fan, but i dont think their defense will cut the mustard this year.

first of all, the veteran corners of last year were hurt for like half the season, so these guys played a ton. they are only going to be better this year. and the defensive line, which was decimated by injury last year is back in full force with the addition of kearse. and don't start some injury bullshit about him either. he missed one season with an injury two years ago. other than that, he has missed 2 games in his 5 year career. so dont say he is injury prone. and there is no question the line-backing core will is head and shoulders above last years backers. and remember, despite the defense woes of last year, it was the offense - as it has always been - that has not been able to carry the load. the Offense came up short in the title game, and they are much improved with the addition of TO. its not as much about what TO will do as it is about the openings he will create for other players. expect brian westbrook to have a breakout year.

Why do I love Eagles fans? Because, just like all Philly fans, the beginning of every season they are the cockiest bastards ever...but come play-off time, you don't hear from them much. And I have had to put up with those damn chants at both D+F shows and DMB shows.

My favorite thing about Eagles fans is that they chant E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES at all sporting events. I was at an Orioles v Phillies baseball game in Baltimore and kept hearing it. I've also heard it several times at Caps v Flyers games in DC.

We get it, you're a Philly fan. But atleast cheer for the team playing at the time!

Even though I'm a Giants fan, I've got a soft spot for the Eagles. Living in Philly for 6 years will do that to you. I don't even mind the E-A-G-L-E-S chants at every public gathering
