I will say this as my only negative about Schlafly TIPA, and that is it takes what seems like forever to get into shops. I mean it's ridiculous that the beer was bottled 8/25/15 but didn't hit shelves for several weeks after that. TIPA is one of those IPA's where freshness makes a huge difference....

Citra Ass Down is a great name for a beer. I'd buy it more if they weren't so expensive, hard to justify.

While we're on Schlafly, I remember their coffee stout being really good. Lighter in ABV if I remember, and very poundable.

Just had my first Another One by Maine. Glorious. Also, for the record, I didn't think Schalfly's T IPA was all it was made out to be. Certainly not bad, but definitely not a go to.

Cheers have you had any of those? They don't brew that Kriek anymore, that was the last batch Troy Casey brewed before leaving and starting Casey Brewing and Blending, essentially Casey without the new label.

I grabbed their IPA in Kansas City this weekend, will be trying it this week.

I just finished up The Calling IPA by Boulevard and found it quite tasty. A little sweetness, a little citrus and caramel. Nice and hoppy - a mix between piney & spicy. Would buy more.

Finally had some Heady Topper, customer brought it in. We blind tasted it next to Pliney and some other DIPAs. Wasn't our favorite, but came in 2nd/3rd out of 6. so not bad.

PtE was incredibly overhyped IMO. Not a bad beer by any means, but not worth trading for regularly.

Heady Topper is still the best DIPA ive ever had.

Had a year old HT at one of our tastings and it was still awesome.

To say it's the 3rd best really makes me want to know what was 1-2.

There are so many Great DIPA's here in New England now. I honestly think I may like Swish the best. Have only had it in tap at the brewery. Next can release is Oct 24th, and its only available oct-apr. Gonna make it up for that. Also made it to Trillium last Sat for the uppercase release. Another great DIPA from them.
