Who cares about the injuries? It's football. You play to win on that day with what you have. Continue the excuse train. It's not going to make this thread topic relevant again though.

Didn't use it as an excuse, just pointed out facts

When the injuries occurred Brady's numbers improved. Seahawks were still on the goal line to win the game, I thought made the correct call and Butler made a great play

I mean what else do you want me to say?

Is it groundbreaking that injuries can affect the outcome of a game?

Justin, do you think the pats should have atleast another ring or two if it wasn't for severe injuries to welker, gronk, and talib over the years?

Brady is single handedly responsible for any and all success the patriots have and will ever have so injuries to anyone other than him shouldn't matter #bradyisthegoat #bradyisgod #onhisnutsallday

If Gronk was healthy in the Giants super bowl? Absolutely

In that AFC Championship game? No the Broncos were a better team, Pats over achieved that year. And got tomato cans going into and in the playoffs

I do like how this thread has pretty much just turned into the last few manning supporters in this debate melting though. Really no other direction for it to go.

That wasn't salty at all, just putting some facts up. And lol at you calling the Seacawks crippled.... why because everyone whined about being hurt after the game? Come on now.

Lets call a spade a spade here, Tom Brady would have never lost 43-8 in a super bowl. Not. Even. Close.

Now go change your panties, maybe you are the sensitive one if i can't talk to you in a little more of a "direct" fashion. Feelings don't exist on the internets.

I wonder, if Brady plays for 3-4 additional years at his current level of play after Manning retires, if Manning will even have the regular season stats to lean on anymore in this argument.

Honestly, I truly believe we should have 6. The AFC lost to the Colts in 06 stunggggggggggggggggg really bad, especially because we would have absolutely destroyed the bears in the SB. That game was 21-6 at the half. The colts just killed it 2nd half and we completely fell apart.

Also, that Tyree catch was luck. That is all. I'm not making excuses, but when you look at that play, the holding that wasn't called, that miracle catch... yea... On a more realistic side... we under performed that entire game, and the giant's d-line had our number. We had the players to control the game, we just weren't prepared. In no way shape of form am I saying that the Giants didn't earn that game, they did, and then some.

Hard to say since they are not on the field at the same time.

    Beat a good defense though

i was in college in Chicago watching everyone celebrate the bears going to the superbowl and that loss hurt just as bad as the first superbowl to the giants. pats had a chance to be heavily favored in their 4th superbowl in 6 years.

I was home and all I remember is a ball just off the finger tips of Wayne that was primed to get picked off....it felt like slow motion watching the ball land.

Ending up being a PI on the play but that 5 seconds was suspenseful to say the least

I wanted to go out and celebrate, remembered I lived in Massachusetts, went to bed instead

I was home and all I remember is a ball just off the finger tips of Wayne that was primed to get picked off....it felt like slow motion watching the ball land.

Ending up being a PI on the play but that 5 seconds was suspenseful to say the least

I wanted to go out and celebrate, remembered I lived in Massachusetts, went to bed instead
hahahaaahahah cracks me up, smart choice
