Nice little beer haul today. Of course, found some local canned beer worth sending in a MBB that we finally decided to get down here I'm prepared for the next one now!

Nice. Looking over BeerAdvocate's DIPA list yesterday and I found that I enjoy Hoptimum more than a majority of the top 25 or so. I am finding that SN is still tops in my books, over Stone though Stone still takes more chances which I dig.

Speaking of which I got my hands on a Beer Camp box, glad my local place has their DIPA on tap tonight otherwise I'd probably crank through all twelve brews unwisely.

Has anyone started watching the second season of Brew Dogs on Esquire? Four eps in (Durham, NC; Chicago; Vegas; Dover, DE) and so far the Delaware ep with Dogfish Head is the best. Martin and James are so funny.

Hey all, moving to Charlotte, NC here in about two weeks now. Definitely not familiar with many breweries down in that region, was wondering if anyone that's around the North Carolina area could recommend some good ones to look out for.

Check out the BrewDogs from Durham. They feature a lot of local breweries there, plus it's an awesome show.

I brought my beer guy a couple Plinys from my trip, and he brought out a 4-pack of BCS for me in return. Nothing wrong with that.

For sure. I used to bring my guy out of state stuff all the time. But both he and my other regular beer guy are never there anymore, and no one else is knowledgable at all. I asked about Black Butte XXVI and he looked at me like I had 3 heads.

Think I'm gonna take this week off though. Been drinking a lot lately and have my fridge mostly clear of stuff that needs to be drank super fresh. Time to give my palate and liver a break, and consume a few less empty calories.

Sun King finally put their Kings Reserve Teku glasses on sale yesterday. I am going to pick some up on thursday. They are badass. But pricey...as is most of their stuff.

Man, I never noticed the sig! I really enjoyed Intergalactic when I was in SD last November.

Had Spudnik, That's No Moon, It's A Trap, Galactic milk stout, and Space Oasis. My wife LOVED the porter.

Yeah no doubt. I am planning on taking the next two off. I don't care what people say, you can absolutely drink more at sea level than at 6200 ft. Gained 7 pounds in 5 days. Stupid calories.

So. Much. Beer. Time for a break.

Its brutal when you have fresh IPA's in the fridge that you dont want to fall off. Luckily other than one can of GFJ and a Ruinten, theres not much Im worried about in there. Seemed an ideal time to take a break. Since I log calories in/out, I really notice the difference, makes it much easier to meet my goals.

Any michigan folks have reccomendations for breweries or bottle shops in/near traverse city? Will be there for a few days with my family. Can't do a long excursion but some short ones would be sweet.

My trading is getting out of hand, I need to seek help! What's could consume more of my time/money than being a craft beer geek oh yeah shipping it all over the country. I'm fairly new to the game but have been going at it hardcore. There are so much to try out there, it's like I have to try it all. When will it stop?!

I feel like my trades go in waves. Nothing for a few months, then a ton for a few months.
