If I wanted to bring a large number of deviled eggs, but I didn't want to share them with anyone else... can you guarantee fridge space?

Yesterday was my favorite episode of the season. When the moon joined Denmark and Leslie asked what they'd do without tides I was almost in tears.

I actually thought Office trumped Parks this week, and its the first time its happened in a very long time. Sure, Parks had its moments, but on the whole I thought the Office did a better job of showcasing all the characters and giving each of them a great line or two. Just my opinion. On the whole, Parks is crushing Office though.

Maybe it just didn't suck as bad as it has in a while and it influenced my judgement.

I'm about 2/3 of the way thru season 2, and I'm still really liking it overall, but one of the weaknesses is how unbelievably stupid so many of the local people are. I think that kind of thing can work in the doses it does on something like The Simpsons, but on a more traditional network sitcom, it's honestly starting to play as kinda more annoying. Like the Christmas episode, it actually had a really funny line from Tom Haverford ("Listening to that tree lighting is gonna be dope" ) but everything with the "sex scandal" Leslie was in with the Councilman, it got so over the top with how stupid and reactionary everyone else was and believing it, it was just kind of meh.

I think I might've just found the funniest moment in the series. In the Park Safety episode, when Jerry says why he lied about getting hurt, "can you imagine what Tom would've said?" and then they cut to Leslie doing an impression of Tom (in his chair) "Damn Jerry, you broke your arm for a burrito. What would you do for a klondike bar, kill your wife?"

and just the look on her face, it's the EXACT wide eyed and mouthed expression that Tom would, I fucking LOST my shit I was literally in tears.

though ironically, this was also in an episode that had the least funny thing so far. I've never been sure if I liked Andy Samberg (not a regularly SNL viewer) well watching him here certainly didn't help the cause. gee, a guy who shouts all of his dialog... that's high-larious

So I wasn't too crazy about Andy earlier on in the series, particularly when he was more of a dick. But I've come to really love him, when he gets together with April here in season 3.

LESLIE: "Three words: Lindsay Carlyle Shea."

    ANDY: "grrrrrrr..... who?"

The tag on the end of last night's episode is probably the best John Ralphio(sp?) bit ever. He's been hit or miss at times, but that was good. "That makes sense... so I just go out the way I came in?"

Lowest rated show on the networks this week. Blah. NBC just cannot generate a viewed lineup. I love all 4 shows on the current Thursday night (although the Office is more of a legacy love, though this week's wasn't as bad), but they just can't get views.

I loved the one scene where they're having a meeting, and this is like at least 6 episodes after Justin had been fully gone, and right after Tom makes some snappy remark he still looks to his side and goes "am I right Justin?"
