If this has a release date of 8-8-14, when should we see some sort of teaser? Any ideas?

idk, i liked TMNT more than most and Secret of the Ooze did not hold up nearly as well as the first. Not sure I'd put TMNT over SotO, but it is better in a lot of ways.

Wow...I totally forgot about the music tour. I had that VHS of the making of the tour. I must have been in 2nd or 3rd grade. I still remember a song called "Skippin' Stones" hahahaha.

I own the original VHS tape. If it was TMNT related, I had it. I even had TMNT stickers on my wall (the equivalence of Fatheads now) growing up.

This is going to sound silly, but honestly... they don't look "ninja" they look like pit fighters.

How much do you want to bet that 99% of the fight scenes happen out in the street in broad daylight with lots of explosions happening?

In the original TMNT movie they were covert, fighting at night, skulking around. I just don't see Bay being that subtle or interesting.

Also - that Shredder pic looks like a slightly more humanoid version of Megatron from Bay's other massacre, the Transformers movies.

Yeah, I'm a little annoyed. Not going to see this tripe.

    Bay isn't directing this movie.

When did that change? It's been a while since the whole "Bay is making TMNT aliens!" debacle.

Bay's is producer, and the center of attention, but I think Liebesman has been the director from the start.

That is interesting. Shameful Bebop and Rocksteady won't be in this film.

I guess they're trying to get away from the 80's "cartoony" aspect of the franchise and make it more realistic, like they did going from this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrMbkbTPrPA to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWmntegbxMc

Bebop and Rocksteady weren't in the beloved original live action movie either. Also that movie was dark as hell, also so was the original comic — intentionally so, as it was a deconstruction of the SUPER SERIOUS SUPER DARK comics of the time.
