I would actually rather them record than tour right now, so that is cool for me.

Yes, as would I. I'm dying for a new album, and dying to see where they go with it.

On another note, I was just think this morning how I love how Thom takes a shot at Jim Morrison in Anyone Can Play Guitar, I never did like Morrison much or at all for that matter.

Folks, I'd like to get the general concensus on what you think the best song off of Pablo Honey is, based merely on its studio merits, not live performance. I'm going to go with Lurgee. Thoughts?

is it wrong that i don't really feel like spending money on a copy of pablo honey? i just downloaded a copy of a 1994 show and it's pretty good, but their early stuff is mostly unformed and not nearly as deep as their work even a few years down the line. someone convince me that it's worth buying or even giving a chance. what's special about the album?

I'd say buy it, now. I'm the biggest Radiohead fan I know personally, granted they are a little more few and far between then say, DMB fans. But nonetheless, the album has some relative gems on it I think. Like I said, Lurgee just sets me in a trance. Thinking About You, Stop Whispering, Anyone Can Play Guitar, Vegetable, I Can't, Blow Out, are all good songs as well and if you look at my iPod or iTunes, Pablo Honey gets good play (iTunes ranks most played). I don't think you'll be dissapointed if you consider yourself at least an average Radiohead fan. Don't know if that is anything of substance to you, buttt, I tried.

"Grow my hair / Grow my hair I am Jim Morrison / Grow my hair/ I wanna be wanna be wanna be Jim Morrison." These now famous lines got many critics and fans wondering. What did it all mean? Thom explains: "I just ranted that verse the day after I saw The Doors film. That film really wound me up, really upset me.

Thom doesn't like Jim because of his persona and how he lived music.

I had heard radiohead tracks before. However, the first time I was really introduced to them was in 2001 while I was living in Verona, Italy. I got tickets and didnt know what to expect. They performed in this venue called The Arena, which is the only colusiem in Italy still used and it was built in the year 4 AD! After that concert, I was hooked!

It's good. Knives and Glass House are both better... I think I might Be Wrong and Dollars and Cents might be too. But it's a great track.

off kid a, how to disappear might be the very best, though national anthem and everything in its right place aren't far off.
