I'm a little late to the thread here but I've been on the road and now finally have some downtime to log on here.

Went to 4 shows on this tour: Florence, Rome, Padova and Copenhagen. Boyd was really messed up at the Florence show - completely out of it and not on stage for a few songs. Maybe smoked a bit too much or was legitimately sick. He forgot to come in during one of his solos. Did anyone else catch this?

I just remembered now...poor Boyd fell off the stage at the end of one of the shows when he was trying to shake hands (maybe Copenhagen...I can't remember so many months later).

The European shows I saw were great. All small venues (except Rome) so very intimate and I was able to get right up front and on the rail. The Padova show was in an arena the size of a high school gym - maybe there were 1,000 people there. And the band were really relaxed, had fun and seemed to really enjoy the different energy of the fans from each country. In Italy, the fans were pretty quiet during the song, but randomly clapped in ways we don't in the US. When introducing the band members, the Italian fans would all cheer "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH" for Carter like they would at a soccer game. Sure, they played a lot of the same songs, but who doesn't want to hear DDTW at every show?! It fucking rocked EVERY time.

DMB, as usual, pulled out their "A" game for their Euro fans and did not disappoint. Seeing them in Europe was one of the best experiences of my life and I'm so grateful that I was able to go.

1 play: Ants Marching, Anyone Seen The Bridge, Bartender, Big Eyed Fish, Dancing Nancies, Dodo (partial), Funny The Way It Is, Granny, Little Red Bird, Lie In Our Graves, Little Red Bird, Little Thing (partial), Minarets, Proudest Monkey, Rapunzel, Seek Up, So Much To Say, Squirm, So Damn Lucky, Sugar Will, Sister, The Best of What's Around, The Song That Jane Likes, The Stone, Too Much, When The World Ends, Why I Am, You Might Die Trying

Death on the High Seas: snoozefest, can't really get into it.
DDTW: not on my top 10, but they were always so tight, loved it each time!
Two Step: of the 2 plays, the one that stood out, always an awesome end to the show.
The Stone: definitely my favourite DMB song, so happy I got it! Specially after Sugar Will.
Standout 1 plays: Seek Up, BOWA, STJL, Minarets.

On the whole, really had a blast, really thankful to the tapers for allowing me to relive it all, and ultimately hoping that it's not another 5 years before they're back!!
