Aside from Faust ARP and Nude, the current tv show they did was amazing. Loved what they did with the other songs. I especially loved Reckoner, House of Cards and Arpeggi.

Videotape is incredible. Just as good as Thom's solo version from "the basement".

Better than the studio album version by far.

    It's good.

Hunting Bears is better than Treefingers, which is probably my least favourite album track by the band. It seems 10 minutes long.

    Re: Radiohead Discussion

I held off on buying In Rainbows until 1/1. I just like to get the thing in my hands and have that...

I cant even believe this album. Its just too good. Another huge step for Radiohead, though not in that re-defining sense, like OKC and KidA, but in a defining sense. This is them at the top of their current game. These are just my opinions, clearly, but I just cant say enough about it...

And, Videotape? The song almost worries me. First, its beauty is second to none and it breaks my heart to listen to it, but I cant escape the feeling that this is kind of it for Radiohead. I know that may sound crazy, and I dont really believe it myself, but its so fucking amazing and it just hits me as the perfect ending. 'This is my way of saying goodbye...'

Some of the bonus tracks for IR are just as good as the actual album. In some cases, better. For instance, 4 Minute Warning would have made a better album closer than that version of Videotape.

But yes, In Rainbows is Radiohead just having fun with no real ulterior motive. It's glorious.

Oh man, I love love love singing to Reckoner.

I recall disliking it when I first heard it in favour of that other song with the same title. Now I realize my error.

I agree. And Down Is The New Up, i think, is the best bonus track. But with that funky falsetto singing, i can see how it doesn't quite fit the album. And as for the second paragraph, i couldn't agree more. You summed up the album perfectly in one sentence. Go RH!

I may have overanalyzed. I love that song.

How can one go about procuring the tracks that were left off of this album?

want to hear something funny, ive become such a huge radiohead fan (from hearing people glorify them on this forum) that i no longer enjoy dmb as much and can't stop listening to radiohead. Dmb has taken the back seat. I now have every cd and can't turn them off. Oh, and all other music just sucks now because of radiohead, there is nothing else like them.

Question: What is a better experience, a dmb concert (I've been to three) or a radiohead concert (been to none)?

And when are they coming over to the states?

^Sort of in the same postion, I've been to 5 DMB concerts but zero Radiohead concerts, but like Radiohead a whole lot more. They are expected to come to the states this summer (beginning in May I believe) but official dates still haven't been announced...I would expect it within the next 2 months at some point...

Seek to around 1 hour and the interview/album review should start.

It's XFM Exposure series feat. In Rainbows with Thom and Ed.
