This fucking hurts. Literally. I cannot seem to get out of this funk. Just intense sadness and confusion.

But 2015 will be another season. Another intense buildup that hopefully can end much, much better.

I would have rather they got blow out then the way it went down. 55 minutes of awesome undone by 5 minutes of stupid.

I'm glad I had the day off because I've been in a foul mood all day.

Yeah, day off from work was huge for me today as well. Though, I think the next two days will suck anyway. Can't say how many reminders I have - the little things I had left as they were. Too many superstitions that I felt gave us a better chance. Finally took down my 2014 GB calendar. December was Tramon Williams... I left it up because I knew how important defense was going to be for us to win. Tramon got beat.

Speaking of Tramon, that was probably his last game with Green Bay; I don't think he gets re-signed.

You're probably right. Lack of dreads in the secondary is disheartening.

I tossed and turned all night Sunday night and probably only ended up getting 2 solid hours of sleep, which was riddled by nightmares about the game. Needless to say I slept pretty soundly last night because I was exhausted, but I still dreamt about it. I've never had that happen with a sporting event. That's how epic of a collapse it was.

I watched the Colts-Pats game with about a dozen Colts fans and expressed this same sentiment. They disagreed, but I chalked that up to them being frustrated in the heat of the moment.

There is nothing worse than snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Packers' game-winning drive at Miami voted this year's NFL Never Say Never Moment of the Year http://www.packers.com/news-and-even...6-56d789ef8457

Second year in a row Packers have won the Never Say Never Moment; this play won last year.

Word is McCarthy is giving up playcalling duties, promoting OC Tom Clements to Associate HC + offensive playcaller, and Edgar Bennett to OC.

    http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports...ents/23091579/

I think this could be a good move. McCarthy's conservative playcalling and game management is his big weakness; recognizing this and making changes is positive.

My brother and I were prematurely celebrating this earlier. I like Mike, but playcalling is not his strong suit. Our offense thrives in spite of him a lot of the time. I'm salivating at the idea of slackening the leash a little bit.

Sadly I would rather see my team lose 45-7 than to lose the way the packers or seahawks did this year

No doubt. You can forget about a blowout fairly quickly rather than dwelling on it for months or even years down the road.

Yeah, letting Mike focus on player management/development (his greatest strength, definitely) and letting Clements handle in-game decisions would be a good step forward, assuming Clements is willing to be more aggressive.

    Yeah, knew that was coming...

Very interested to see if they take a stab at Julius Thomas. Hopefully they get Cobb's deal finalized shortly and can move on to other areas. Just imagine an offense that has Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson, Julius Thomas, DeVante Adams and Eddie Lacy... WOW! Oh, and then there's this guy Aaron Rodgers that I've heard is pretty good.

The Pack definitely need a TE to make the offense hum again. Thomas would be awesome if the Broncos decide to let him try FA.
