Really nice gesture of The Warehouse
So I haven't posted on the forum in ages but, I felt this warranted a post as I know the Warehouse gets a lot of flack.

I have been a member since 2001, signed up after the infamous 06/11/01 TWO STEP IN THE RAIN!!! show. Was my first DMB concert and was hooked for life.

200+ shows, 4 DMB tattoos and a small spot on the Radio City DVD later....I lost my job in 2015, and fell on some really bad times. Literally scraping pennies to get by, used all my savings, etc... Needless to say Warehouse membership renewal wasn't in my budget. So after 15 years, there goes my seniority, and frankly my sense of pride of being a member that long (hey it's the longest relationship I've ever had! )

I got a job about 6 weeks ago and am getting back on my feet. I emailed the Warehouse to ask if there was any way I could renew my membership and keep my seniority. I offered to pay a penalty, etc... I knew it was my fault that it lapsed.

The Warehouse promptly replied the next day with a heartwarming email. They immediately reinstated my seniority and COMPED me my 2016 membership. Really beyond what they had to do.

That's all, I just wanted to publicly acknowledge their generosity, it put a big smile on my face.

    That is awesome! Very nice of them.

    I let my membership lapse this year due to the fact that my wife and I are probably only gonna do one show a summer for the foreseeable future, but I always thought highly of them overall.

    Good to hear! I completely spaced on renewing my membership last year. I emailed them 3 months after it expired and they were happy to reinstate my seniority and didn't charge a penalty or anything. Speaking of the Warehouse, is there any news on the Warehouse disc coming??

    I tried to get me seniority back, same deal scrapping by - I called to try and get it reinstated the following year when times were better and they said no dice. I think there was too long of a lapse in time. That was back 1999-2000. I'm glad it worked for you and that they are comping your membership fee - that's completely awesome!
