The truth is I probably wouldnt recognize the song because U2 is trash and I dont listen to them.

Ive sat through Be Yourself a few times, youre right.

I like SDL alot, so that doesnt apply to me.

    Fair enough

I like U2 and Bullet the Blue Sky is one of my favorites. Although, I absolutely can't stand SDL. The only silver lining for me is the hopes of a Thank You outro.

I don't understand how anyone could hate anything from The Joshua Tree.

To each their own, sorry you don't like U2.

I like U2's earlier stuff (like Zooropa and older). Bullet the Blue Sky would be a solid cover. I'd watch that.

SDL can be a little taxing at times, especially when they were over-playing it. But one of my favorite performances of any song from DMB was the SDL to close out Blossom '10.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps - George Harrison
Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You - Led Zeppelin
    Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty
Don't Bring Me Down - ELO
    Twilight Zone - Golden Earring
Beds Are Burning - Midnight Oil
Suicide Blonde / What You Need - INXS
Wind Cries Mary - Jimi Hendrix
    Roadhouse Blues / L.A. Woman - Doors

    maybe an interpolation of:
People Are Strange (Doors) --> Watchtower
Captain --> I'm Your Captain/Closer to Home (GFR)

...lets keep Nirvana to the house music.

    yes.

under pressure would be good as well. I think rashawn would kill it on the high note chorus.

I've always thought the band could really nail a Bowie cover. Imagine like Space Oddity, 5 years, or Modern Love. All (as well as the above mentioned) would be pretty damn cool to see imo.

I really think Cameo's Talkin out the side of your neck would be awesome if covered by DMB. Just a jam with heavy horns and I could just imagine Dave scatting all over this one

If they are going to cover Fleetwood Mac they need to play Tusk. Carter and the horns would be incredible.

If suggested, forgive me... But I feel an absolute must! Someone from management point out the oversight.... Do while Boyd around, too. He'd be on board 100%
Would've been amazing if 2016 tour covered as a tribute...

Prince - Rasberry Beret (Boyd Solo! What?) FUN
being such a short song (without boyd solo) could medley into a second Prince song as well? Tim Could cover guitar solos of Prince Im sure.

maybe other Prince candidates I can think of but not sure if within (forgive me Dave, but we gotta watch out for your vocal chords during tour) Dave's vocal range...
Of course Carter fills in high vocal quite well...

    ALSO....
Dave NEEDS to cover Beatles Dear Prudence at some point...

It would be great if Dave and Tim covered Jim Croce. Most of Croce's performances involve one guitarist Maury Muehleisen and he's definitely the 'Tim Reynolds' in that equation.
