Of course, also as is usual with network TV, now the events in the finale made all of those machinations totally pointless, because everyone else found out anyway
Cbs offed Will Gardner on The Good Wife out of no where and shocked us all.

I was on the fence whether to believe Liz was dead or not. I kind of thought not but part of me wouldn't have been surprised if she was.

well okay but in all fairness, mind you I never watched The Good Wife but am aware of what you're talking about, but that guy wasn't quite the central character of the show, was he? like to the level that Elizabeth is on the Blacklist? I mean I'd argue she is the main character, that she's the lead, even more so than James Spader. He's certainly the famous heavy hitter, but a bit more supporting, like for a movie equivalent I look at it as maybe a bit less than Matt Damon to Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting.
but so on the Good Wife, it's not like they tried to tell you they were killing off Julianna Marguelise.

now granted, the night that episode aired, and while I saw plenty of other people on forums and such that also guessed it exactly, that it was planned with Tom and Kaplan to fake her to escape Red, but I'd had no clue at all about the whole spinoff series thing for Tom's character. Because at first frankly part of my whole thing with credibility was, if they kill Liz NOW, where the hell would the series go from here? like it's one thing to do what they did for a small run of episodes before the finale, but the whole rest of the series? nah.

I'm not trying to say my list is anything special just throwing it out there to see what other folks record. Some of it I don't even watch anymore but is still recording.

Yeah, Will was the second star and involved with Alicia so that made him so. No where close, though to what Liz and Red would be considered on the Black list. Will's death came as a complete shock and blindside. Ironically, the show got so good after it as it changed the dynamics of everyone else and the guest stars made the show better , too. Still too bad they there.

As for Liz, I just don't put anything past tv these days so I thought it may have real. To me, Red is the show and I thought the writers may have wanted to see where he "went" from there. In hindsight, I'm not sure how I believed it at all. .

I understand. I feel like I watch a lot of TV and sometimes find it weird that people have such big viewing lists and nothing is ever the same.

Agree. Most of those because I've seen and don't desire to see more. Some I haven't seen.

I'll post my list of current shows that I follow later. I don't have a DVR but I do have an app to track new episodes.

Person Of Interest is finishing out their run nicely enough, but it just cracks me up, as with most any procedural thriller I guess the amount of things that have to happen at the most exact convenient moment every episode... It's just over and over again, probably the biggest suspension of disbelief of the show, even when dealing with an AI that can supposedly plan 100 moves ahead. So many things happen literally the very SECOND that they need to. It's an inherent cool thing about the show, the problem is it's an excuse that can be used to cover anything. "of course that happened, THAT'S just how smart the machine really is!"

Maybe, depending on how good the story was. The story wasn't very good in season 2. They are batting .500 at this point, doesn't seem to ridiculous that some high profile actors/actresses wouldn't want to team up with HBO to create 10 hours of content millions of people are going to automatically watch.

    Re: Official Television Thread v2.0

So... in this thread.. what's the spoiler policy for Netflix shows (binge shows)? Can I look in this thread from time to time and not see Bloodline spoilers? I don't like to binge watch shows, so it might be several weeks before I finish Season 2.
