    Satellite. A downright amazing and beautiful studio track, with a quirky guitar riff over quirky lyrics, and subtle but flowing and graceful playing from each member. Love it. I feel sophisticated now.

    I view After Her like many songs that have evolved... just another step in the writing process. It's cool to hear, but it just doesn't flow like Satellite.

    I think the Satellite lyrics are > than After Her.

    after her..... i love the lyrics to after her.. they make tons more sense and just is a better all around song even if the only recorded version is just dave...
    i read somewhere that the only reason it turned into satellite was becuase steve lillywhite said that after her wasn't a catchy enough name for a single...

    Satellite was being played in 1992 long before Lillywhite had any idea who Dave Matthews was.

    I think Dave deserves a ton of credit for writing a better song to the same song.
