And the crowd gives it back to them 10 fold! Still holding out for a 3 night box set of their shows from 2000 here, but so stoked that Deer Creek's first release is pre-Everyday. You guys are gonna LOVE this release!

I'm excited for this show and for the venue to have a release but everyone pretty much says this about their home venue

I wish they would put up previews so we could see what the mix sounds like. Any idea to when they'll do that?

Not Atlanta. Atlanta has some of the worst fans ever (music and sports)

They'll put up one or two songs to preview in a couple weeks.

Finally a 1999 full band release!

My only hope now is that the mix is as good as on Listener Supported (the audio CD version), it's the best mix ever.

P.S. does anyone know what guitar Dave was using for these shows? Was he still on the Chet or did he switch to the Martin DM3MD? (IMO his best sounding guitar.)

Yeah, that's too loose a definition. You can't compare this to Warehouse discs or bonus discs. They're substantially different types of releases from filler on a Live Trax release.

From looking at the cover art it looks like hes using the sunburst chet.

Would not get your hopes up about the mix being as good as LS. I agree that was a great mix.

True. Except only two other venues have been more visited. And the whole "roi" thing going on with this release is pretty special.

These are for early 2000 show show. Deer creek has played late June for many years.

Thanks for clarifying. I went back and re-read the thread and noticed you guys were talking about the 2000 show. Now back to talking about this awesome release! Carry on.

These reviews are great! How about the one guy, "The encore was bit of a letdown" haha is this guy serious?!?!

This just makes me even more jealous of people who were around for the glory years of this band. I was 13 and just too dumb and immature to understand how great this band was. Damn.

Funny enough it was the rarest show of the tour by far. Typical, Granny, Wynona, Monkey, Granny, Jane... those were all rarities in 1999.

About the encore being disappointing, Drive In Drive Out was a repeat. But as sean(numbers) said in the Deer Creek thread, the Drive is blistering. It's really a step above any other performance I've heard.

I think the show itself will shock you despite the intro-less OSW and the abrupt Warehouse ending.

It's bothering me that the almanac doesn't have the little Live Trax logo on the show page, or the little CD next to the tour date

Okay, so I'm driving up to DC for the shows this year. If I preorder and it ships on 7/14 (as it says it will), will it arrive in time for me to listen to it in the car on the drive?

Wow, laid back!!!!!! I think that this show was my favorite of all three nights. Other people say they liked last night better. I will agree that they jammed more last night and most people are there to see that. Now, they jammed tonight but it was laid back jamming. The setlist made it for me tonight. It was a lot more stuff that you don't hear very often. Nancies was the high point of the laid back portion of the show. STJL was a good follow to it. Dave just came forward and said "I have a sister named Jane," turned around and the started playing. After that, the energy increased a lot with Too Much. Granny rocked!!! Best performance of it I think I have ever heard. Ants was a little better on Tuesday amazingly. Typical Situation was great to hear. My favorite concert of the three night set. Not the most jamming or energy but a great well rounded performance.

All the jamz though. So laid back.
