Re: New York Yankees

At least we have a couple amazing pitchers going against them. Pineda will probably lose, but I'll take 2 out of 3.

Sabathia's ERA is down to 2.28... nice to know you've got an amazing ace pitcher taking the mound every 5 days.

I'm so happy for CC. He's been one of my favorite players since they acquired him in '09. Just seems like a genuinely good dude and he was great his first 4 years, big part of those teams successes. It was tough watching him have such a rough go of it the last few years and then hear about the alcohol problem. Thrilled to see him in a good place and pitching great again. Awesome job reinventing himself so far this season.

Did he get the requisite 5 2/3 innings he needed last night in order to qualify for the league ERA leaders?

I can't believe how bad the Twins are.

2.5 behind in the wild card. Cool I guess.

Beltran hurt. Might as well try calling Aaron Judge up, he's been on fire lately.

Beltran, clearly the Yankees’ most consistent hitter this year, is listed as day-to-day after the picture from the Carl Pavano Memorial MRI tube was clean.
