My point is that hearing a Bills fan, and Steelers fans saying everyone is sick of the Pats or find them uninteresting is funny. Project much?

Obviously you all feel that way but ever consider it's just you?

Sarcasm there.. just using the whole "been there before" argument against the other matchups.

We're taking fringe viewership numbers here. People that hardly care about football but watch the SB sometimes. If they look at this matchup as someone who doesn't follow the NFL really, they are probably going to be less likely to turn this on because it's not a flashy matchup.

How is this not a flashy matchup? Best offense in the game vs best defense. That's only happened 7x

Not at all because I know people who are Seahawks, giants, jets, Ravens, redskins, and browns fans who have mentioned they are sick of the pats.

I would agree people fans of AFC teams probably hate the pats more than fans of NFC teams, but this isn't an isolated thought.

The Yankees don't play in the NL and I still hated seeing them win a bunch in the 90s. Personally I just like seeing different teams win every year. That's why I wanted Washington to win that national title more than any other team in the playoff.

Again, were talking about fringe viewers. They don't know jack shit about the falcons having a great offense.

X's and O's wise for people who pay attention, yes it is interesting.

You don't seem to be reading my posts. I've said multiple times I'm glad Atlanta is in the game.

I would be sick of it too if I was a fan of a perennial shit fest. I don't think anyone ever tried saying nobody is sick of watching them win. Obviously fans of certain teams will be. I was just saying steelers fans shouldn't really feel the same as Jets/bills fans etc. I know most steelers fans I know don't.

Not once did I ever say everybody, stop putting words in my mouth people. I'm speaking in generalities, I've never even insinuated everybody.

Fringe viewers hear best offense vs best defense and that should be good enough to watch

I respect the pats more than any other org in professional sports.

With that said, I still hate seeing them win any more. I would rather see the Ravens win another SB than the pats.

Include Denver fans in the Patriots hate camp. No one hates the. As much right now, I see it every day, it's pretty funny.

Sure. Still don't want him to win.

You think there aren't people out there that hated Bradshaw, Montana etc while they were in their primes?

Why would anyone not watch the Super Bowl?

I can understand not being excited for it, but who would actually base their decision on watching on the teams playing?

Not many people. If I can subject myself to Oakland/Tampa Bay I'm pretty sure I can handle just about anything.

Here is what is annoying about the superbowl, when people have to call it "the big game" in advertising and other things due to trademarks.

Fingernails on a chalkboard every time I hear it.

There's no such thing as an uninteresting championship game in sports. It's all about the journey. What was storyline about the Packers last week? They started 4-6 and were a game away from the SB lol

People just don't want to admit the Falcons can make it to the SB. If they win it's going to be even harder to admit they belong.

I truly want to know why people are writing the Falcons off this early. I don't personally care what some DMB fan thinks because it's just nonsense, but I'm curious of people who actually know what they're talking about.

Do you not think the league leader in sacks will be able to make plays? I saw the Divisonal round and Clowney hit Brady several times. I know the defense is young, but it's the fastest defense they've faced all year. Matt Ryan? Are you expecting a complete meltdown from him? Russ Wilson won the first time he made it to a SB. Coleman and Freeman will be bottled up all night? The WR depth for Atlanta is such underrated aspect going into the game.

18-1. You'd think people wouldn't jump so fast to claim a victory for the Patriots. I have no idea what will happen. Both teams have tremendous strengths going for them.

That has absolutely nothing to do with it. It's also blatantly false.
