I rarely, if ever, show my photos to people. I show everyone my pictures, but I consider the two to be much different things. Here is a sampling of some of my shots. I don't have access to my photography folder on this computer (I'm at work) but here's what I could access in the meantime. I may post more later.

Fog over the mountains outside of Seattle.
Mario fixing his trolley at his winery in Florence.
The firedancer pumpkin I carved last Halloween.
Morning mist on an olive tree.
My cat, Howie, laying on my couch.
The Trevi fountain in Rome at night.
A pretty flower in Asheville, NC.
    Rush hour in Chicago.
    Rush hour in Venice.
My favourite subject in a thoughtful moment.
Something to smile about in Warsaw, Poland.

i'm afraid to go by the K-2nd grade school. it's the best swingset to photograph from, but i feel this is around there recess time. though it is cold out, so they may be inside for the rest of the winter.

so i need to find a way to get inside.

decrease, or slow down. Usually any shutter speed slower than a second requires a tripod I'd say.

sure thing. Dont worry about losing light if you have a tripod. The slower your shutter speed, the longer the lens is open, taking in more light. Virually all good night photography requires a tripod.

I use the Nikon D100 and love it. Nikon and Cannon are really the only 2 serious camera companies. They make the best stuff. And if possible go to Wolf Camera and ask advice, dont bother with the boobs at Best Buy or Circuit City.
