WED 7/16 - MIDFLORIDA AMPHITHEATRE

Just booked the Hard Rock across I-4 from the venue for $209. Price will go up significantly once tour is announced.

    very iffy about the florida run for me this year. i hope i can, not looking good though. sucks, tampa was a blast last year.

    I might do Tampa this year. I have never been to the venue before. How is it? How is the tailgating scene?

    This is my home venue. It is a good place to see a show, Sound is good. Only downside is they have a 11 PM curfew do to the homes around the venue.

    Sets are usually average but always a fun show.

    It will rain before the show and then be hot as hell.

    I would say tailgaiting is a 7 out 10. Cops are pretty cool. Lots typically open around 3 or 4 day of the show.

    Hope you can make Tampa.

    last year, and I assume this year, they allowed early parking for $20. not bad, but I think that's if you get there before 4. So if you want to get there super early you can drop the $20 and tail gate all day under the Oaks.

    Looking forward to Tampa once again. Hope they don't play a lot of Everyday and Stand Up to balance out the lack thereof on the classics-heavy set last year. Tampa (and the FL run in general) been fortunate to have some great guests in recent years too. Mule opener + Warren Haynes guest in 2010. Carlos Malta last year. Here's hoping the FL run gets another solid guest/opener again.

    Last year was spectacular with the monsoon that you could see coming. The people that stood out in the wind and rain and LIGHTNING so as not to lose their place in line were champs. I felt bad sitting in my car watching them get wet

    I have never been to this venue before. I got confirmed for pavillion. Are all the pavillion seats covered or are there some uncovered sections in front of the lawn?

    Does this venue have a pit?

    All the pavillion seats are covered. Last few rows in each upper section can get wet if it rains.

    It does have a pit which is rather large.

    Does Citi Presale not sell pit tickets for this show? Or did they just sell out that quickly? I know this place has a huge pit so I'm hoping it's just an issue with Citi..

    Couldn't get pit, but was able to get 2 tickets in Section 9 Row K and 2 in Section 13 Row L.

    Those were the best I pulled in 2 hours.
