get the fuck out of Dodge. I can finish a Miller Lite in 2 quick chugs, no way can I do that with Guinness. However I can chug a car bomb pretty quick, so maybe I'm wrong.

Do you have a recommendation for a good beer bar in Manhattan? I'll be there this weekend.

Also, there is a great beer bar in Chicago, any recommendations from this list? http://www.thebeerbistro.com/beers.html

Depends on the beer though, and where you buy it. At my local store, some of the domestic craft beers cost more than some of the Belgians, but generally speaking you're right.

Miller is tougher for me in terms of quick drinking because its so damn carbonated. I sucked down a bus bomb* once in like 45 seconds, and i didn't want to die after. Guinness is much smoother in terms of powering it down.

*Haven't done bus bomb in 2 years, thank god.

Coors gets the job done. But I'll take anything over it, if i'm just chilling.

Miller Products just blow. All of them. Miller light is disgusting, and worse is High Life.

I'll take some Red Dog tho.

I had this one for the first time about two weeks ago. Easily one of the best beers I have ever had. I cannot wait to have it again, and even more excited to try more of their beers.

Yes, pour in a glass and make sure the can hasn't been shaken too much before you open it. Pour slowly because the widget gives it huge head.

You may not like it still. I don't drink it all the time. Its a good beer to mellow out with and enjoy a conversation at a bar or just sitting around.

Oh. Well in that case, I have no idea. I had Boddington's once a few years back and didn't enjoy it, so I haven't tried it since.

I was in some bar in Sarasota last week talking to the guys about beer (also trying to promote my favorite; see below) and they said their distributers are so dumb they literally call Chimay Chimney... as in, do you need anymore of that chimney beer? The owners were speechless.

My beer of choice.. Terrpain India Brown Ale, but I also love the Terrapin Rye, depends on the situation. I highly recommend it for those who live in/around the southeast.

They got together with Left Hand (out of CO) and made a special beer called "Terroizyed" that was down right amazing.. I love me some Left Hand too.

I don't know. I thought it was pretty weird. It was just so weak, no head, not much carbonation even...and it had a bad taste. I don't think it was one bad bottle either because I was talking to my dad about it and he thinks it's pretty awful as well.

I'll probably pick up a bottle of Blackjack next time I'm out because I'm on a big porter kick (Avery New World, Boulevard Bully!Porter, Rogue Mocha Porter--which might just be my favorite).

And I'm with you though on Guinness....that is not heavy. It's almost a bit too watery for me. On tap, though, delicious. Murphy's Irish Dry Stout is better though.

Thinkin bout oatmeal stout...man I'm craving from some Barney Flats...
