***Official Irvine 2013 show***

I'll just put this out there now: Looking for a pair of lowers. I'm moving out to LA in June and couldn't make any East Coast shows!

Hopefully I can catch some drops when it gets closer but let me know if you hear of anything!

I've been a long time DMB fan, and a long time antsmarching.org org member (I think over 10 years now!)...and now I live in L.A. doing my own acoustic rock-singer-songwriter thing...so for ALL you fellow DMB So.Cal. & CA fans in-general who are getting geared up for the boys of DMB to make their way to CA in September come and watch me play some of their tunes LIVE in and around the L.A./So.Cal. area over the next 3 months at least...I've been playing DMB for over 10 years now and I know and will play plenty of DMB covers to wet your pallet until they arrive!

I'm from Detroit and me and the wife are flying out for the Irvine show with two of our friends and I'm looking for four pit tickets (right now we have four WH tickets for the back of the pavilion). Do you Irvine veterans know how big the pit is and what the odds of me actually pulling this off are? I've heard the pit is the smallest on the tour so the tickets are hard to come by. Someone on eBay is selling four four $3800 but I just can't pay that... Is there another section right behind the pit that I should be looking for? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Wife and I are about 88% committed to being there. Usually fly into SNA from PHX though.

Awesome! I might go the flight route as well. Almost that perfect distance where a flight is a little easier then driving.

Parking is a mess (takes forever to get out) but if you go for the VIP parking, it is no problem at all. Only $20 also.

Yes..got my Irvine tickets...first time ever declined from WH...so lame. Who knew Irvine would be a hard ticket to get.

Can anyone tell me more about this venue in regards to its sight lines? I'm on the look out for 4 reserved and live nation has 4 together available, they are on the far sides or the terrace. I could also get 2 sets of 2 or 3 and 1, but anything 2 or more together is on the far sides. Anyone have any experience with these sections. Thanks in advance!

I used to live by this place and went to many shows here. Stay to the inside as much as you can. The further outside you are, you will get a restricted view. The band sits pretty far back on the stage, and the speakers stick out off the stage. I sat over in section 8 (house left, stage right) a few years back and could barely see Boyd the entire show.

With no true LA show this year, this is the de-facto stop, so the ticket is a toughie this year. Good luck and enjoy the show.

I will be doing a tailgate this year, and would welcome any assistance if anybody wants to help. I found the ideal spot last year, and definitely plan to head for it again. I don't live too far from the venue, so it's easy enough for me to bring a lot of cooking gear, for the proper tailgate festivities. Just give a shout out and we'll work on the particulars as the date approaches. I'm also headed north for Gorge & Tahoe shows.

So my friend just got tickets right off livenation for Terrace 14 (he wanted reserved seating), but on the side that's close to the center.

whodat, I saw your post about the restricted view, but is it a really bad view?

I have never sat in the Terrace, so I can't say for sure how good or bad the site lines will be. The one year I sat in section 8 (section below 14 in the Loge) I was in the middle of the section, and could barely see Boyd. Also with how far back the drum kit was, on the far aisle of section 8 you could not see Carter, just the drums.
