Con-Fusion DMB Italy founder Corsina Andriano has died

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our friend Corsina, who left us yesterday. We cannot understand what happened (and probably never will). We don't even know if we should be writing about it here. All we know is that Corsina, with her passion, love and tireless work, is the driving force that made us into a big, ever-growing family.
We will always have this treasure, together with the amazing book she wrote, the perfect expression of what she was and of all the years we spent together, trying to reach that goal she never deemed impossible to reach. We want to believe that throughout those years she was just as happy as we were.
Goodbye Corsina, and thank you for everything you've done. You will be sorely missed.

She traveled the world to see DMB. She was personal friends with the band. She was a friend of mine.

I saw her every year from 08 til 13. I didn't see her this year but I knew she was very busy.


She loved DMB so much.... Still in shock. I just talked w her a few months ago. She was so proud of her book & couldn't wait for it to make it to the American crowd.

I remember meeting her out on tour a few years ago. She was nice enough to come up and introduce herself. Such a shame. My condolences to her family and friends.

Thank you for all of your messages from across the sea. Corsina was in love with the US and was so sad to miss the shows there this summer. We will make sure that all of her passionate work will continue to blossom. It is a great help knowing she touched many souls all around the world, even in a brief moment. She was a wonderful human being, a unique friend and the most generous person I have ever known. She will be deeply missed.

I am a DMB ConFusion member - didn't realize Corsina was its founder - she was an acquaintance when I was on FaceBook too. So sad for your loss - she obviously touched many via dMb in very positive ways. Please keep us posted about when her book is available in America.

as far as I know that's still pending release.

Sorry I somehow missed this post earlier this year. Very sad news. Met her once when my wife and I were travelling south by train from Milan to Rome in February 2010. She was very interested that we had attended the fan club night in Milan too, and of course that we were from Scotland.
DMB played Warehouse that night in Rome, my wife's favourite song. And Corsina said she had met Dave before the gig and asked him to play it, so she certainly had some influence....! Can't wait to read her book when it finally appears in English.
Hope DMB return to Europe in 2015, fitting tribute to Corsina.
