I already have a test pressing for an RSD BF release (not DMB related), so I just assumed most companies sent them out for evaluation around the same time.

Which still gives them time to select the release since, as Doby says, they don't press until September. I'm hoping that's enough time for them to schedule the releases.

What I'd like to see:
* UTTAD Vinyl - 9/29/14
* LT32 (assuming a 1994 show to go along with UTTAD - I'd like this one http://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.as...=45&where=1994) - 9/29/14
* Recently EP, released on RSD BF - 11/28/14
BF release? Tell me more.

I wish. The NDA I signed says I can't mention the artist name or album title. I can say it's a reissue of a popular pre 1980's album in the rock genre that will be on a colored variant - but that's so vague it doesn't really tell much anyway.

That 9/28/94 release party show has one hella awesome Boyd Solo after Halloween. Listed as Halloween [Reprise] on almanac.

I would be all over some 90's pop vinyl reissues.

Spice Girls are my guilty pleasure. Don't hate.

Haha I was an *NSYNC guy. And I'm not gonna lie it's hard not to find a groove in those late 90s songs.

I recalculated my estimate on what LT6 could look like on vinyl, on average they've been able to keep 21-22 minutes per side, it'll be 9 LPs.

This keeps PM>Satellite, So Much To Say>ATSB, Nancies>Warehouse and PNP>Rapunzel all on the same sides.

    LP1

    A
    Everyday
    Pig

    B
    Proudest Monkey
    Satellite
    Idea of You

    LP2

    D
    Crash Into Me

    LP3

    E

    Digging A Ditch
    Tripping Billies

    LP4

    G

    Hunger For The Great Light

    H

    J
    One Sweet World
    What Would You Say

    LP6

I just don't see how they'll sell LT 6 as is the CD release especially if it's 9 LPs. It'd make more sense to do LT 5 on RSDBF and break up LT 6 into a pt 1 and 2.

I'd like to see Recently + LT7 for BF and UTTAD special 45rpm 4LP edition for RSD2015 along with 33pm 2LP black vinyl release nationally 3 weeks after.

I don't even get to go this year. I'm going to my parents house for Thanksgiving and the nearest record store is in New Orleans. I'm not driving 3 hours to sit outside at 4 a.m. in downtown New Orleans. I'm just going to press my luck with Bull Moose online, leftovers and eBay. RSDBF isn't near the big deal that RSD is so I'm not "too" worried about it.

When it comes to DMB vinyl, waiting a week for the Warehouse to have copies for cheaper will ALWAYS be better than sitting outside a store.

Yes and no. The store I went to this time around had about 20 copies of LT4.

I ended up getting 2 & 3 at the same store about a week after RSD day 4/20. I think he said he had like 3 or 4 of LT1. However I ended up getting mine on ebay when they were only going for about $200.00

The demand is there. They will sell out but no demand of resale value. Give it a few days after RSD this year (If they make the same amount for sale) and you can easily get one for face if not a few bucks more. Worse case you will easily be able to get a copy of the black version. Nothing like LT1 will come about again IMO.

Yeah all my LTs are black and I have no problem with that. The music is the same regardless of color. It also gives me the ability to spend more on RSD/RSDBF because I'll get another paycheck between RSD & Warehouse release.

Yeah I'm not worried about it at all. If it's a LT I'll get it through Warehouse with no problem. My job is solely about being on social media/internet so I always get emails immediately. And if it's something besides a LT (hopefully), then I'm sure an Ant can help or I'll just pay the premium and score off ebay.

Re: DMB - Record Store Day (Black Friday) 2014

Just looking at the original e-mail about LT5 from March 2006 and I suppose it's not out of the question that it might coincide with a reissue of UTTAD given it was from that tour, maybe we get LT5 + UTTAD for BF?

    Here's the blurb:

    Quote:
    ABOUT THE SHOW

8.23.1995 Meadow Brook Music Festival took place during the tour for Under the Table and Dreaming, DMB's first release on RCA Records. Dave Matthews Band was just beginning to move from playing smaller clubs and theatres to playing larger amphitheatre settings.

8.23.1995 Meadow Brook Music Festival is another crew favorite. David Ryan Harris, guitarist for Dionne Farris' band, performed with DMB during six songs of the concert. Rhyme and Reason is a notable song featuring David Ryan Harris harmonizing on guitar with the violin and saxophone parts of the song. A twelve minute Exodus, played rarely in DMB history, was also a highlight of this show. Jimi Thing is also exceptional at fifteen minutes. The encore begins with a soulful solo performance of Typical Situation by Dave Matthews and then explodes into All Along the Watchtower also featuring David Ryan Harris.

I'd be 100% ok with that.
I was thinking since LT6 will be massive it would be released on its own.
    Hopefully RSD 15'

I'm hoping UTTAD isn't a RSDBF release, or if it is - it's a variant for RSDBF and a wide release shortly thereafter so everyone can have access to it without having to pay eBay flipper prices.

I don't think they would waste UTTAD on a RSD.
