This week I've gone through a really tough break up. I didn't realize it was coming and I was angry and frustrated when it did. Like everyone my first inclination was to blame her even though I knew I had a huge piece in the problem. I started to realize today exactly what happened and the I dropped the ball on the girl I cared about most.

We've all been upset about Dave not playing Let You Down, but for the first time I'm getting it. I can barely listen to the song let alone get up in front of 30,000 people and play it.

What a beautiful song though. Makes me feel great when I have this band I've connected with on such a high level.

Let's talk about the song, what it means to us, and our disappointment in it not being played, but lets also understand just how hard it must be.

Absolutely beautiful song. I do not have a personal connection with the lyrics, so I kind of ignore the sadness of the song, which allows me to view the song as relaxing. Whenever I want to listen to music but not anything too complex or loud, I play this song. The guitar work is prime.

Great guitar work, just such a relaxing and mellow song. I think Roi's whistling (and sax quite honestly) in this is one of my top 3, if not my favorite part of Crash.

Always been a favorite of mine, not sure why it gets hated on at times. Beautiful song.

It's not in my top 25 or anything, but I agree - it's a beautiful song. Not sure why it gets hated on so much. I'm in the minority that prefers this to Lover Lay Down.

It sounds like you loved her a lot and did not realize maybe you were not paying enough attention to her, maybe you were too busy? Don't worry man, you will find some girl again soon that does not need as much attention that is more equal to you... just saying.

Sorry man, I experienced this recently too. Though it wasn't as long of a relationship. It blows.

Hope the band is somewhat helping you feel better. For all the flak I give them, solid recording isn't far off.

in the end man, this band is the biggest part of my life outside of personal stuff/family.
