I just loved sitting on the lawn and watching the sun set behind the venue. I am also in love with the beach, so maybe that's why I liked the setting so much.

Hope with these early south dates announced means they might play here earlier in the year like April or may when the weathers better. Plus I missed last years run & I'm dying to see them!!

This is highly unlikely. The last few years West Palm has been their last shows before the mid tour break and that seems to be the trend now. West Palm has only been played prior to July once and that was in 1999 when the tour started in FL and started in May. I'd bet on West Palm mid to late July or perhaps June if thats when they are on the East Coast.

They have destroyed tailgating that is for sure. The venue is a bit better than standard but not by much. What has made this venue special in the past is a few things. A: it's Florida, you are on the beach and can make a legitimate vacation or family vacation out of this. If you come up a few days early you can hit an extra show in Tampa and then have a down day to do a theme park or the beach. B: I think Antsmarching.org made this venue with it's back to back party's at the PGA Resort. It was something that had never been done to that magnitude. I mean there are definitely other meetups like ToupsTown and other small clique's among the boards; however WPB was completely different.

I couldn't make it last year and that was my question, how bad was tailgating? Did they open lots later and shoo people into venue when gates opened? That would suck. I recall they were going to restrict EZ ups and such as well.

There's really only two weekends this summer that I can't do a DMB trip. The third weekend in June and Labor Day ( my Gorge virginity was supposed to get popped )... so I'm going to WPB where I have a condo. I miss that summer moist- ness.

My nephew is getting married and while I am a dick I probably should not miss it. Trust me, my wife is significantly more pissed than anyone else. However, my bride is not a big fan/ concert going person (unlike me) and can be a buzz kill and by Sunday I'd be looking to throw her ass down into Gorge. It might still happen, depends on how much my family pisses me off. WPB is a must. LMK if you need place to crash

Looks like Warped Tour is at Cruzan on Sat, 7/27, so that weekend is out. I'm hoping for the first weekend in August

So how's the lawn here? Me & my wife are thinking of seeing Zac Brown Band play here in a few weeks but live nation has only lawns. We're normally pavilion only in these sheds but I've been living here for over a year now without any concerts, I love Zac & am debating on biting the bullet & hittin the grass! Does it get crowded like SPAC or is it more laid back?

How was tailgating destroyed?

I've only the been in 2010 and 2012, but it seemed pretty standard for tailgating. Shade tents, beer drinking without getting hassled, grills, tailgate games, half naked girls with inflatable seahorses around their wastes. Can't ask for much more.

I definitely had fun at the Ants tailgate this past year.
