I think they were set to open at 4. We pulled in a few minutes before, my friend went to go get the parking staff guy to see if he would open the gate early and while she was walking back with him someone in line behind us jumped out and opened the gate. They weren't very happy they had to run around and check everyone's passes, but they seemed to be cool about people hanging out. We hung out in and around the car with no problem. Planning on it again this year!!!

Yea, I've never had a problem with tailgating. Anne Park is a pretty nice place to hang out as well before the show.

right, princess anne or the beach in my opinion.

tailgate in the lots at your own risk lol. the police can and will kick you out if they feel like it, even if you are not causing a scene.

Very true. It just seems like luck of the draw. I've only been told to go in once while the cop was passing, but when he rounded the corner we never saw him again. But just save the risk and hang out at the park. It's pretty much part of the lots anyway.

Hmm...well who knows for sure, but it's still early in the day. And ultimately, VA Beach is a pretty easy ticket to score anyway, so if WH bones you, there's always other ways in!

that's very true, the beach is pretty nifty. i'd prefer va beach to hell aka JLL. i loathe that place.

welcome! if you're planning on hitting the beach, don't go to the VA beach oceanfront. too many tourists. go to Sandbridge, or Chic's beach or one of the less crowded ones. tailgate at your own risk, or at princess anne, and enjoy the show

also, yay for SOJA opening up for us! great band.
