I think I'd give fucks if this band tours or not, but people here differ. I like fucks and I can't think of a time I wouldn't give them. If the band quits, I will still give fucks. What about you?

I give fucks, but this current tour has made me give fewer fucks because it made me realize that Dave will always tour in some fashion or other.

It depends. If they make a great record, I'd like to see them tour in support of that album.

If not, they could close up shop and I'd be happy with the career they've had. I'd guess DMB is closer to the end than the beginning after 26/7 years.

That said, I enjoying watching this band. And I want this band to continue touring. I've never had a bad time when I travel to see this band.

I care but not as much as I did 5-7 years ago. I'd probably be pretty heartbroken if they never toured again 7 years ago but these days I would just be disappointed. I've seen them enough times that I've gotten almost everything I want from them. At this point, going to see them is purely for a good time and to see my favorite band. I'm not expecting to be wow'd like I would at Phish and I'm not going to see a legend like if I went to see Springsteen. Just going for a good time.

And also probably very few. I want to see them again but I'm skipping SPAC this year in favor of camping with a friend. I will always want to see them, but, meh.

I was listening to Crash on vinyl with a close friend last night who's never seen them and he BADLY wants to see them, so I would give many fucks if I couldn't facilitate his first live DMB experience.

I go see DMB usually once a summer i go with my Sister an annual thing we do every summer. I still enjoy seeing the band but I'm never wowed anymore by them.

That's how I feel, too.

Do we think that's them or that's us? Have they run out of steam or do we just know all of the tricks in their bag too well after 25+ years?

I obviously can't speak for others, but it's "them" for me. Phish still wow's me and they've been around much longer.

I think it can be a little of both, but I feel like it's them.

I saw Elton John two years ago and it was an amazing night, but I just knew I wasn't seeing him at the height of his powers — his voice wasn't the same as it was in his youth (though still solid) and he wasn't dressed in something absurd like a giant Donald Duck costume.

I think the same can be said of DMB. It's still a fun show, but in their prime, they were phenomenal. When they lose a step, they're still pretty good, but they aren't wearing the Donald Duck costume anymore either, metaphorically speaking.
